Retirements and Transitions

Jessica Estes, DNP, APRN-NP, transitioned from her position as executive director, Kentucky Board of Nursing, effective on May 16, 2021. Estes’s departure marks the culmination of more than two years of service.

Julie George, MSN, RN, FRE, retired from her position as executive director, North Carolina Board of Nursing, effective on Dec. 1, 2020. George’s departure marks the culmination of more than 12 years of service.

Cynthia LaBonde, MN, RN, retired from her position as executive director, Wyoming Board of Nursing, effective on June 4, 2021. LaBonde’s departure marks the culmination of more than nine years of service.

Kim Glazier, MEd, RN, retired from her position as executive director, Oklahoma Board of Nursing, effective on Sept. 30, 2021. Glazier’s departure marks the culmination of more than 22 years of service.

Betsy Houchen, JD, MS, RN, Betsy retired from her position as executive director, Ohio Board of Nursing, effective on Sept. 30, 2021. Houchen’s departure marks the culmination of more than 15 years of service.
