I. Meeting called to order at 1:00 PM by President Lippert

III. Past President’s Comments

a. Past President Moriarty expressed regret for not being to attend the meeting in person, but wishes everyone and a successful event this evening b. Past President Hughes expressed in route to the meeting and is attending virtually wile driving. c. Looking forward to seeing everyone this evening. d. Past President Koch expressed being grateful to be back in the Northern California Section and how his role as Regional Director will reengage him with the NCPGA. Looking forward to reviving the relationship and moving forward as a team. e. Past President Dumas welcomed and thanked everyone for their commitment and congratulated the

NCPGA 2022 Hall of Fame Class and looking forward to a great evening.

b. Minute Approval: February 21, 2022- Motion to approve by Vice President Bailey, second by Director

a. Welcomes everyone to the meeting and thanks for traveling. Welcoming guest and thanks the staff.

Asks if everyone would like to share about how everyone has been doing at their facility to show everyone, they may share same issues or have ways to help each other.

VI. Vice President’s Report – Nick Bailey, PGA

a. States financial reports are submitted b. Discusses the role of the Board of Directors relative to Section Partnerships c. Executive Director Dumas states recent changes to Workday have helped with the financial process

VII. Secretary’s Report – Devin Meheen, PGA

a. Membership Report – Submitted in packet b. Director Meheen noted the number of Transfers Out of Section, and almost the same number of Transfers-in c. Director Meheen discussed the upcoming voting during Semi-Annual meeting relative to Section Bylaw changes

VIII. Executive Director/COO Report – Len Dumas, PGA CCM

a. Assembly Bill 1910 – Executive Director Dumas related the numerous changes to the bill and how it keeps coming back in a modified form. b. Executive Director Dumas noted the new NCPGA Section Highlights magazine and if anyone has stories they think will be great to share to pass them to the staff. c. 2023 Drive, Chip and Putt has started, and there are 2 pilot programs this year which really help eliminate the need for staff to attend. d. Executive Director Dumas noted the the Hall of Fame attendees for the Class of 2022, special guests and reviewed assignments for each Director.

IX. NCPGA Foundation Report –Tim Burr, PGA

a. Foundation Report – Submitted in packet b. President Burr spoke about the newest staff member Jacob Fagan, PGA Works Fellow c. President Burr spoke about the upcoming The Langley and possible new events towards the end of the year

X. PGA of America Reports

a. Career Services – Caitlyn Doyle, PGA- Doyle summarizes the upcoming job searches and which positions are open currently. Shares the new member orientation packet and how it will help. b. Career Consultant Doyle requested everyone to complete the Compensation Survey c. Career Consultant Doyle reviewed upcoming webinars with Player Engagement Consultant Harkins d. District 11 Director –John McNair, PGA – Submitted in packet e. Player Development -Junko Suzuki Harkins, PGA- Submitted report in packet f. Regional Director, West Region – Monte Koch, PGA – Thank you to everyone and glad to be back. Goes over his role and what he can do to help the Section.
