Teaching and Coaching Committee Report

Mark and Ashley have reached out to get members to join our team. Kevin Chen of the Bay Area Chapter is on board. Ashley was reaching out to Meredith Loose to join our committee. We are working on details of our first event. We wanted to present on how to grow and coach PGA Jr. League as well as Get golf Ready. Hoping to have something in place by 7/1

NCPGA Mentoring Committee Report June 13, 2022

Mission Statement: To provide support and resources to NCPGA Associates and their mentors to assist in obtaining Class A Membership and career advancement.

Committee meetings held on March 30, 2022, April 13, 2022 and June 8, 2022

Committee watched SCPGA’s Launchpad series on Youtube. These are recorded videos about the level 1bookwork. Goal is to use posted materials by colleagues to work smarter, and save time by not reinventing the wheel. The list of NCPGA Associates has been distributed to the committee and all are assigned individuals to reach out to. We are hoping that during our outreach efforts we can see what level they are in, what are challenges and barriers to completion of the program and any recommendations they have. We want to help them and see if they are happy in their roles and/or need assistance. NCPGA Action Items sheet.is continuing to be updated with information and updates about the committee

Current Standing of the NCPGA:

The education committee has been meeting the first Wednesday of the months. We are starting to plan for the Annual Meeting Education in December and the Teachers Forum in January.

Engage, Elevate, Advance Webinars – Thank you to Junko Suzuki Harkins, PGA (PGA Player Engagement Consultant) & Caitlyn Doyle, PGA (PGA Career Consultant) for putting on three great education webinars.

Tournament Update

We are midway through the NCPGA Tournament season and due to so many factors our tournament participation levels have declined over the last 3 months. The Tournament committee will be discussing this and take an extremely hard look at the 2023 calendar of events, locations, dates etc. PGA Professionals have shared the following for enabling them to participate
