HybridHero

What is HybridHero?

HybridHero is our desk booking system which enables staff who work across campuses to make sure they always have somewhere to sit

How do I book a desk?

Booking a desk has never been easier - simply jump onto the Intranet and select Desk Booking from the front page. You will need to enter your username (staff email) and password.

Once you have logged in and set up your profile you have access to the desks to book what you need.

Watch the video below to see how to book your desk and check in.

How often do I need to book a desk?

You only need to book a desk if you are working at a campus that you don’t normally work from and need to sit in a new location.

How do I know if a desk is available?

When booking in the desks that are available will be able to be selected. If you can’t select a desk, it has already been booked by someone else.

What

if my work plans change?

If you are no longer in need of a booking, please adjust your bookings as soon as you know. This allows someone else to use that desk.

REWARD AND RECOGNITION

GILLIAN DRURY - RN/ANUM @ IRVIN HOUSE / COBRAM

The care that was provided to one our residents whom was acutely ill on night shift went above and beyond expectations to ensure their comfort, wellbeing and safety

The knowledge and expertise in the approach of both Gill and Jo (McDowall) was exceptional and they went out of their way to ensure the resident and family members were supported throughout The care was provided in a timely and efficient manner, minimising unnecessary delays and maximising the positive impact on the resident If it wasn't for the swift action of both Gill and Jo there could well have been a very different outcome.

Mental health is a vital part of our overall wellbeing, and more people than ever are looking for everyday ways to support their emotional balance. Two of the most powerful and accessible tools are regular physical activity and a nutritious diet. Both play a key role in managing stress, improving mood, reducing symptoms of anxiety and depression, and supporting long-term mental health.

This months' tip sheet focuses on physical movement, nutrition, and mental health, offering practical ideas to help you use movement as a tool to boost your mood and enhance your psychological wellbeing. What is Malware?

Malware is any type of software that is intentionally designed to cause disruption This can be any of the following:

Disruption to a PC

Disruption to a server or network

Gain information to leak

Gain unauthorised access to information or systems

Restrict access to information

Interferes with security software and privacy

Malware is classified into a few different types:

Viruses

Worms

Trojan Horses

Ransomware

Spyware

Adware

Rogue Software

Wiper

Keyloggers

The best ways to mitigate these threats is to ensure that your PC’s, systems and networks are protected and regularly updated This is achieved by having up-to-date virus protection software, strong firewalls, ensuring system updates are completed regularly, regular backups and isolating infection systems

End users are able to assist in this process by ensuring you are aware of what malicious emails and different threats can look like Then reporting these immediately to the HRHA ICT team. The sooner that threats are reported the faster they can be managed, reducing the potential damage

If you find anything you think may be suspicious, report it immediately to HRHA via email:

Charles Street Footpath Complete

Thank you to the footpath team from Moira Shire Council - NCN Health Cobram campus now has fresh new paths that surround the campus making it easier for patients, residents and staff to get around. The addition of new paths along Charles Street will make getting to the Medical and Dental Clinics, Pathology and Community Rehab Centre much easier and safer for our patients and residents.

Cobram Campus Redevelopment in

Numurkah Pioneer Memorial Lodge Development

The Numurkah Pionneer Memorial Lodge development is now in a detailed design phase.

Given the size and scope of the project the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) who are an arm of the Department of Health are leading this project. As project lead, they have now finalised negotiations around land acquisition. The detailed design phase will include significant contribution from an Advisory Group which includes clinical and non clinical staff and consumer representatives. The detailed design must also consider the recommendations from the National Aged Care Design Principals and Guidelines which were created as a result of the Royal Commission into Aged Care.

Recently, the Advisory Group headed to ‘Big Plans Melbourne’ to attend a virtual walk through of the current floor plan of the design. This exciting technology allowed the Advisory Group to experience the plans in 3D and provide feedback on work flow and the space in general. This feedback will inform the final plans.

Further consultation has also taken place with current Lodge Residents around interior design and, in the coming months, consumers and Allied Health staff will head to Melbourne again to review furniture for the new facility.

Once finalized, the plans will go to tender for a builder to be appointed and contruction of the new facility will begin in 2026.

NCN Health will soon have a 3D image of the front of the building complete with landscaping to share with the community.
