When booking in the desks that are available will be able to be selected. If you can’t select a desk, it has already been booked by someone else.

REWARD AND RECOGNITION
GILLIAN DRURY - RN/ANUM @ IRVIN HOUSE / COBRAM
The care that was provided to one our residents whom was acutely ill on night shift went above and beyond expectations to ensure their comfort, wellbeing and safety
The knowledge and expertise in the approach of both Gill and Jo (McDowall) was exceptional and they went out of their way to ensure the resident and family members were supported throughout The care was provided in a timely and efficient manner, minimising unnecessary delays and maximising the positive impact on the resident If it wasn't for the swift action of both Gill and Jo there could well have been a very different outcome.

Cobram Campus Redevelopment in
Numurkah Pioneer Memorial Lodge Development
The Numurkah Pionneer Memorial Lodge development is now in a detailed design phase.
Given the size and scope of the project the Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) who are an arm of the Department of Health are leading this project. As project lead, they have now finalised negotiations around land acquisition. The detailed design phase will include significant contribution from an Advisory Group which includes clinical and non clinical staff and consumer representatives. The detailed design must also consider the recommendations from the National Aged Care Design Principals and Guidelines which were created as a result of the Royal Commission into Aged Care.
Recently, the Advisory Group headed to ‘Big Plans Melbourne’ to attend a virtual walk through of the current floor plan of the design. This exciting technology allowed the Advisory Group to experience the plans in 3D and provide feedback on work flow and the space in general. This feedback will inform the final plans.
Further consultation has also taken place with current Lodge Residents around interior design and, in the coming months, consumers and Allied Health staff will head to Melbourne again to review furniture for the new facility.
Once finalized, the plans will go to tender for a builder to be appointed and contruction of the new facility will begin in 2026.
NCN Health will soon have a 3D image of the front of the building complete with landscaping to share with the community.
