NATIONAL COUNCIL OF LA RAZA 2005 ANNUAL CONFERENCE LIDERES SUMMIT July 15-19* Philadelphia, Pennsylvania GENERAL RULES AND REGULATION FOR PARTICIPANTS UNDER 18 YEARS OF AGE The following Líderes Summit Rules and Regulations apply to participants who are under 18 years of age. If you are under the age of 18, you are required to be accompanied by adult supervision to attend the NCLR Annual Conference and Líderes Summit, (collectively sometimes referred to as the Conference ). Please share this information with your parent or guardian. Both parents and adult supervisor should make copies of the form for their records. Terms and Conditions of Participation. We understand that the terms and conditions of Student s and Accompanying Adult s participation in the Conference are as follows: The possession and/or use of weapons, alcoholic beverages, and illegal drugs is strictly prohibited. Violence of any kind will NOT be tolerated and is strictly prohibited Any behavior that contravenes hotel rules or polices or is otherwise inappropriate is strictly prohibited. Each Participant must pay the NCLR Conference registration fee prior to attending the Summit. The amount will vary depending on the type of registration (Full Package or One Day only), and the date of registration. Please look at the attached registration form for costs and accepted methods of payment. Visit: http://www.nclr.org/section/events/conference/register_now/ for more information about conference costs and method of payment. Each Student must be present at ALL Líderes Summit activities. Each Student and his or her Accompanying Adult will follow the instructions of NCLR representatives during the Conference. Male students will not be allowed in female Student hotel rooms or vice-versa at any time unless supervised by an Accompanying Adult. Students are not to leave the hotel or convention center at any time without specific permission and authorization from their Accompanying Adult. Students are also not to leave any Conference event without notifying a Conference facilitator. An Accompanying Adult has ultimate responsibility for his or her Student at all times. Conference staff will be present and available during Conference sessions and activities, but responsibility for attendance and behavior of the Student remains with the Accompanying Adult. Accompanying Adults are responsible for signing out (and checking back in) with Conference staff whenever his or her Student leaves the Conference, and on the final day of the program.
