In the year 2000, the German magazine “Star Magazine” bluntly expressed, “Do we truly have the certainty to deliver a better performance when faced with the next challenge?”

Despite the tendency of numerous literary works to portray humanity as inclined toward self-destruction, I still hold onto a thread of hope. Why, with our genes inscribed with violence and conflict, do we consistently suppress our emotions, often adopting a pattern of indifference, a bystander mentality? This even extends to residing in featureless buildings, rendering us captives of society.
