Any registered voter can go to a county elections office in person to request and receive a vote-by-mail ballot. To apply to register to vote, please visit RegisterToVote.ca.gov.

You may also check your voter registration status online at https://voterstatus.sos.ca.gov.

All California active registered voters will receive a voteby-mail ballot for the June 7, 2022, Primary Election. Return your vote-by-mail ballot by mail with prepaid postage as long as it’s postmarked on or before Election day and received by June 14, 2022, or in-person to a secure ballot drop box, to a voting location or your county elections office by 8:00 p.m. on June 7, 2022.

In-person voting locations will offer voter registration, replacement ballots, accessible voting machines, and language assistance to those who need it.

Your primary Election ballot will include candidates for U.S. Senate, Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Controller, Treasurer, Attorney General, Insurance Commissioner, Member of State Board of Equalization, State Superintendent of Public Instruction, U.S. Representative in Congress, State Senator, State Assembly Member, as well as other local candidates.

There are two contests for U.S. Senate on this ballot. You can vote for both contests.

One for a 6-year term ending January 3, 2029; and One for the remainder of the current term ending January 3, 2023 https://www.sos.ca.gov/elections/upcomingelections/primary-election-june-7-2022

En vez de ir a votar el día de las Elecciones, usted puede votar por medio de la boleta electoral que se le envió por correo.

Luego de que haya votado, coloque su boleta electoral en el sobre que se le envió y asegúrese que haya completado toda la información necesaria en el sobre.

Usted puede devolver su boleta electoral de las siguientes maneras:

1. Por correo a su funcionario electoral del condado; La votación por correo que se manda por correo deberán ser sellados antes o el mismo Día de la Elección y deberán ser recibidos por la oficina de votación del condado a más tardar 3 días después del Día de la Elección.

Si no está seguro de que su boleta electoral va a llegar a tiempo al enviarla por correo, llévela a cualquier lugar de votación del estado entre las 7:00 a. m. y las 8:00 p. m. durante el día de las elecciones.

Hay dos eleccione para el Senado del país. Se puede votar en ambas.

Una es para un plazo que acaba el de enero de 2029.

Una es para lo que queda del plazo actual, el cual acaba el 3 de enero de 2023.

Palomar College Raises Progress Pride Flag on Campus

Palomar College became the first community college in San Diego and Imperial Counties to raise the Progress Pride flag during a ceremony to observe the beginning of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer/ Questioning, Intersex, Asexual and Ally (LGBTQIA+) Pride Month on Wednesday, June 1, 2022.

At Wednesday’s ceremony, dozens of Palomar students, faculty and staff gathered in the sunny courtyard between the Student Union and the flagpole to celebrate the raising of the flag for the first time.

El College de Palomar Iza Bandera Orgullo Progreso

El Palomar College se convirtió en el primer community college en los Condados de San Diego e Imperial en izar la bandera Orgullo Progreso durante una cermonia para marcar el comienzo del Mes del Orgullo Lésbico, Gay, Bisexual, Transgénero, Queer, Intrasexual, Asexual y Amigos (LGBTQIA+), el miércoles, 1 de junio de 2022.

En la ceremonia, docenas de alumnos, empleados y docentes se reunieron en la plaza soleada entre el Student Union y el mástil para celebrar el izado de la bandera por primera vez.
