Who are we looking for?

We’re inviting passionate leaders, managers, supervisors to help shape inclusive employment practices for Cultural Brokers. If this sounds like you, we’d love to connect!

Cultural Broker Team Leaders Managers, supervisors, and team leads who support Cultural Brokers

Policy Makers & HR Professionals Those who design policies, procedures, and workplace standards in the settlement sector

Settlement Sector Leaders CEOs and decisionmakers committed to equity and inclusion

Composition & Process Two Regional CoP Groups: 10 - 15 members per group.

We will start with one group. Once its membership is complete, we will split it into two groups.

Eastern:

Western:

Manitoba, Ontario, Atlantic Provinces

British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan

Levels of Engagement Core Group Core Group

2 meetings per month •Co-create curriculum •Provide leadership and guidance Ideal for: Managers who want to shape the CoP direction and content

Active Participant Active Participant

1 meeting per month •Asynchronous sharing (posts, comments, resources) •Contribute ideas and best practices Ideal for: Managers who want to stay involved but need flexibility

Occasional Contributor Occasional Contributor

Occasional meeting attendance (optional) •Asynchronous engagement: Respond to prompts, share resources when convenient Ideal for: Managers with very limited time who still want to stay connected

Schedule 6 months from January to June

Formal CoP Launch

January 27, 2026

Session times will be scheduled based on the availability of most members and communicated once registration is complete. An invitation to the formal launch will be sent to the email address provided during registration.
