Live Auction Rules 1. The Live Auction will begin at 12:00 P.M. on May 1st and will continue into Last Bidding Rights at 7:15 on May 2nd. 2. NEW: You will use your device or smartphone to bid on Live Auction items. 3. During the Last Bidding Rights in the Live Auction, make sure to note the times each of the items will close to the highest bidder. The Last Bidding Rights will be separated into four, 15 minute sections starting at 7:00 P.M. 4. PAYMENT-IN-FULL IS REQUIRED ON ALL ITEMS AT THE END OF THE NIGHT. All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds. For your convenience, items will be added to your credit card on file. 5. Please note that some items may have restrictions and specific requirements regarding reservations and expiration dates. It is the responsibility of the successful bidder to contact donors where special arrangements are necessary. 6. The Academy of the Sacred Heart asks that you try and observe the time slot pick-up dates and times for your items after the auction: May 11-13, 11 A.M. - 1 P.M. 7. The Academy of the Sacred Heart makes no representations for any items in the auction. Values set forth for the items being auctioned are the donor’s estimate and are not warranted by the Academy of the Sacred Heart for tax purposes or for general value. 8. All items not picked up by noon on August 20, 2020 will become the property of the Academy of the Sacred Heart. 9. Dinners, party packages, etc. are the responsibility of the purchaser. Failure, for whatever cause, to arrange a meal, party, etc. within the stated time limit and within the specified conditions and/ or limitations, imposes no obligation for refund on the donor or the Academy of the Sacred Heart. Eighth Class Quilt Donated by: Eighth Class Gift Take yourself back to your child's very first day at the Academy. Did they cry, did you? Did they come home so excited for another day or were they reluctant to leave you again? There are so many moments at the Academy that bring forth strong emotions. And we capture these moments with snapshots, either in our minds or on paper, each one lending itself to a precious memory. It may be Field Day, Mass, First Communion, Silver Tea, a basketball game or a play. This year our quilt captures every one of those snapshots. By taking a physical piece of each memory, we preserve it and the feeling of love that we had in that moment. A white dress, khaki pants, a plaid jumper, a jersey.... all represent a poignant piece of our Sacred Heart education. We hold these memories close knowing that even though they are finishing Eighth Class, they are still little in our hearts. 5
