Ts’eh in the sky

Cattle on the mountain Spotted, like the starry sky that led me to You Spotted, like the freckles spattered across your collarbone I’d kiss each one if you’d let me

You held me at night, body-to-body, under the same glowing panoply The constellations that led me to you The same ones that return night after night, to let me see you in their light You held me then I remember the days I remember the nights I remember you

And Even though you’re gone They still return Orion, Andromeda, Cassiopeia To remind me of the nights we spent together under their light I am not sad Though you shall not return I can find you in them

Lorin Bucur
