Another Place Another Time
Another Place Another Time*
If there was an answer, he’d find it there, far down the tracks, along the river. The journey begins, for the grand pearly castle. In the little train cart he starts, sunny and easy, cruising along rickety, old train tracks. Like chasing a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow, rays of sunshine bursting from his joy. Along the tracks, a friend is met. A bond is formed, if there was an answer, he’d find it there. However, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies anymore, Fog appears, thick and hazy. The fog challenges him, it gives him lemons to see what he’ll do. Struggles begin, hitting bumps in the tracks, hitting the brakes, wanting to stop. In the midst of opaque clouds, a glimmer of light is seen. Tracks begin to lay flat again, finally, he sees the sun. He was able to make lemonade. Over the hill of glistening green grass, is the perfectly pearly white castle. So close, he can almost touch the smooth pearls on his hands. Approaching the castle doors, strong rays of sun bounce off the shiny, smooth, whiteness of the castle. Rays of sun reveal the answer. He opens the doors into a grand room, twinkling from the sun. Entering, he struts to a grand golden staircase, if there was an answer, he’d find it there.
