Describe your career pathway goals and how you consider the VET course and LEAP program will help you achieve your goal (a paragraph minimum).

If you are still uncertain, what are you considering or what are your strengths and interests? e.g. I would like to be a Personal Trainer when I finish school. The training for this job is at TAFE. I like to be active and am good in team situations. I really liked my Year 9 Business Expo project as we did lots of interesting things. I like to be moving around and doing things rather than sitting at a desk all the time. I am a good reader but I still need some help with my writing. I am not very confident with Maths but I know I will need to know the basics when I leave school. I want to stay at school until the end of Year 12 but I might want to do VCE VM instead of VCE.

e.g. I really want to be a chef. When I spoke to the Chisholm VET Coordinator at the Careers Expo, she told me about the Catering Services Certificate. There I get to specialise in Kitchen Operations and learn how to cook. When I have finished my Certificate II at Chisholm, I would really like to go to William Angliss College in the city as they have a really good name and top chefs go to them to get apprentices. I will be 18 then and will have transport to work and study in the city. One day, my dream is to travel throughout Asia to learn about their cooking. VCE VM allows we to start my TAFE VET studies in Year 11 and I will reach my goals earlier. Because you have to work in teams and be an independent learner in Hospitality, VCE VM suits my learning style.

Parent /Guardian Permission to Disclose Personal Information It is very important to provide necessary information to VET Providers about Special Learning Needs (e.g. ASD, Auditory Processing, English as an Alternative Language, etc) or Medical Conditions (e.g.
