DESCRIPTION For my denim project, I drew inspiration from South Korea, a leader in the denim fashion industry. This project includes key elements like exploring denim jacket origins, creating a diverse jacket portfolio, applying ‘form follows function’ design, integrating art and denim (Art Crossing), exploring architecture and denim (Architecture Crossing), merging denim with the environment (Environment Crossing), and reviving denim fashion through Fashion Crossing. .

DESCRIPTION
In order to set new fashion trends, we want to reuse surplus items from existing collections. Surplus can arise for various reasons, such as delays in delivery, overordering or incorrect material selection. Designers can see how the design affects the price through the products in the promotional program. We need to put clothing into a new context by creating unique outfits for each person from surplus items.

DESCRIPTION In this course, we will be creating a series of garments designed for a contrasting pair or two central characters. The process includes the following steps: 1. Developing mood boards for the contrasting pair or central characters. 2. Crafting three design series by combining various apparel types: a series of coats and jackets, a series of pants and skirts, and a series of t-shirts, sweaters, and blouses. 3. Employing innovation to revamp design elements within a “creative” product, drawing inspiration from the contrasting pair or a specific meeting point.

DESCRIPTION In the “Moedellentwicklung Reinraumsysteme/arbeitsschutz” course, we brainstorm ideas for a useful reinraum product designed for those who engage in sports on the weekends or in the morning, such as running or riding. We work in groups of two. This product satisfies the need for both style and safety in these activities.

DESCRIPTION This course has accelerated our multifaceted development. Our experiences were eye-opening, ranging from efficient teamwork and brainstorming together to rational task delegation for all project aspects. Not only have we conducted brainstorming sessions and developed prototypes, but we have also identified potential customers and clarified the goals of our product. Following the CAD design phase, a series of meticulous iterations in testing and close inspection ensued, culminating in the realization of a product that perfectly embodied our original vision.

DESCRIPTION I worked on a study about Prada with Professor Karin Stark of the Niederrhein University that focused on the following topics: The history, philosophy, branding, products, target market, and sales of Prada. - Miuccia Pradas’s biography, accomplishments, and competitions. - Superb collection developments by Miuccia Prada and partnerships with Raf Simons. - Design strategy analysis using case studies. This project has broadened my perspective on the industry and given me invaluable insights and experiences.
