About NatureBridge We believe environmental education should be a part of every child’s life. When we take students outside into the world around them, they experience remarkable personal growth, improved interpersonal skills, and increased academic ability.

Founded in 1971, NatureBridge welcomes more than 650 schools and 40,000 participants each year to our six campuses where they are immersed in the wonder and science of nature. In our first 47 years, we have provided life-changing experiences to over one million participants.

NatureBridge has been providing three- to five-day residential environmental education programs at our campuses in the Santa Monica Mountains and Channel Islands since 2010.

We now welcome nearly 3,000 4th- 12th grade students from over 50 schools to our environmental science programs aligned with state, federal, and Next Generation Science Standards. The majority of our students attend our programs with donor-funded scholarship support.

About Moving Mountains Moving Mountains is NatureBridge’s premier fundraising event in Southern California. This year we are proud to host at SmogShoppe, the greenest venue in LA, located in the Culver City neighborhood.

Moving Mountains guests will dine on creative, local fare from Chef Nyesha Arrington’s Santa Monica restaurant, Native. As always, there will be specialtycrafted cocktails, delicious local wine, complimentary valet, fun activities, learning experiences, and inspiring guest and student speakers.
