FITNESS PACKAGES
Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture offers a variety of monthly membership packages that allow residents and visitors to enjoy programs and amenities at all recreation, athletics and 50+ centers across The American Dream City.
Monthly membership programs allow Arlington residents to participate in a wide range of Parks & Recreation’s programs at any center without paying additional fees as they would have under the previous membership program.
Monthly memberships can be purchased for individuals or for a family of up to five people. Individual membership rates are based on the age of the participant and are discounted for adult residents over the age of 60. Family memberships for anyone living under the same roof up to five people. Additional family members would need to purchase individual membership packages based on age. Non-residents are also eligible to buy a Parks & Recreation monthly membership at a slightly higher cost than residents.
Patrons can choose among three levels of membership, based on their needs and interests. For example, someone looking to swim laps at The East’s 113,000-gallon indoor pool or to take advantage of the skating at Elzie Odom Athletic Center may find the basic Blue membership to be the best fit for their fitness needs. Ready to begin enjoying all the great amenities and programs that Arlington has to offer? Stop by any of the centers or the Parks, Recreation & Culture Administration Office, 101 W. TEXAS RANGERS GOLF CLUB

701 Brown Blvd.
fb.com/RangersGolfClub
Arlington Golf and the Texas Rangers have partnered to build the world’s only Major League Baseball-branded golf course — the Texas Rangers Golf Club — which opened in February 2019. This collaborative branding partnership, along with $24 million in course renovations, affords the opportunity for Arlington to offer a destination golf course for both Arlington residents and visitors alike.
“As the world’s only MLB-themed golf course, this course is sure to be a ‘bucket list’ item for baseball fans across the globe, especially our Rangers fan right here in Arlington,” Mayor Jeff Williams said.
The golf club is open to the public seven days a week. Texas Rangers Golf Club is the closest 18-hole golf course to Arlington’s Entertainment District, offering a chance to play golf in conjuction with a visit to a Dallas Cowboys or Texas Rangers Game, TexasLive!, or the numerous other events at AT&T Stadium, Globe Life Park, UTA or downtown Arlington.
A $24 million project, Texas Rangers Golf Club involved a total renovation and updated routing of the existing golf course with improved turf grasses and additional water features. A new 33,871-squarefoot clubhouse, which opened in early 2020, features a full-service restaurant and bar, covered patio overlooking the golf course, pro shop, locker rooms, and numerous rental and event spaces.

Newly renovated, it’s hard to find a more beautiful course than the award-winning Tierra Verde Golf Club, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in late 2023. Tierra Verde is the first golf course in Texas, and the first municipal course in the world, to be certified as an Audubon Signature Sanctuary. Walk onto the first tee and enter an environment where golf and nature come together in harmony.
Opened in 1998 and carved from 250 acres of secluded terrain, the course’s unsurpassed layout encompasses a variety of natural settings and offers an outstanding playing experience on every hole. The course has hosted many prestigious events, including the Byron Nelson Qualifying Tournament. Tierra Verde has consistently been named one of the top-10 public golf courses in the Metroplex by AvidGolfer magazine, earning cover honors in 2023.
Each hole has five sets of tees, sculpted fairways, strategically placed sand bunkers and water hazards - all accented by stately trees and beautiful native grasses. The facility features a indoor golf training bay, lighted driving range, three-hole practice course and large chipping and putting green complex.
Lessons and clinics are taught by PGA/LPGA professionals and apprentices, an outdoor pavilion and full-service restaurant, Ventana Grille, that complement every event from small corporate outings to large fundraising tournaments.

CAPITAL IMPROVEMENTS
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Arlington Parks, Recreation & Culture is committed to creating parks, facilities, and green spaces for you and your family to enjoy.
With park fees, bonds, and other sources of income, we’re able to renovate and create facilities to fit your needs.
Arlington residents unanimously approved a package of bond projects that focus on parks in the 2023 Bond Election.
Take a minute to read about projects we’ve recently completed or that are already under way.
*Please note that many of the elements shown for these projects are renderings and conceptual in nature.
*Please note, all renderings are subject to change based on scope of work and project budget.
FIELDER PARK
Fielder Park is an existing 6.4-acre park located at 1100 South Fielder Road in central Arlington. Existing park elements include a parking lot, playground, tennis courts, basketball court, restrooms and trail.

• An online park presentation and survey for the public to review and provide input for the new park renovations was completed on October 31, 2025.
UPCOMING MILESTONES:
• A second online presentation will be posted with the survey results and (2) conceptual plan alternatives for review and comment in December 2025.
WOODLAND WEST PARK AQUATIC FACILITY
Consultant design services began in January 2025 and are projected to be complete by January 2026.

RIVER LEGACY PARK TRAIL IMPROVEMENTS
Due to erosion and bridge repairs, portions of the trail at River Legacy Park will be closed as we work to rebuild a better and safer trail for visitors to enjoy. Expected partial closures from Snider Creek Bridge and eastward will begin in mid-June 2024 and last through Spring 2026.
River Legacy Park is a 1,100-acre property located in north Arlington along the Trinity River Corridor. The facility is Arlington’s largest park and serves hundreds of thousands of visitors annually. The existing hike and bike trail has been in place for approximately 27 years and is experiencing substantial areas of erosion due to the migration of the Trinity River. This river migration has necessitated the trail to be realigned to prevent further failures based on erosion of the riverbank.
PHASE I
• Construction was completed in May 2025 and is reopen for trail use.
PHASE II
• Realignment and replacement for approximately 1.0 miles of existing trail within the Trinity River Floodplain. Project limits between mile marker 1.0 at the Legacy Pavilion and the newly installed Trinity River pedestrian bridge crossing located at the furthest west end of the existing trail at mile marker 0.0. This connection to the west will continue to Greenbelt Road and tie into the Fort Worth trail.
• Trail was completed and reopened in mid-November 2025.
RIVER LEGACY PARK TRAIL WEST CONNECTION
• Trail connection of far west end of River Legacy Trail with the City of Fort Worth trail with a Trinity River pedestrian bridge crossing is anticipated to complete construction in January 2026. This will complete the connection to mile marker 0.0.
RIVER LEGACY PARK TRAIL EAST CONNECTION
• Trail connection of far east end of River Legacy Trail with the City of Fort Worth trail at Highway 360 opened in June 2025.
RIVER LEGACY PARK EROSION CONSTRUCTION
• Demolition of existing park road pavement and complete erosion repair work associated specifically with the parking lot adjacent to Snider Creek Bridge. This is projected to be completed by February 2026.
AL ROLLINS PARK
Al Rollins Park is a 4.75-acre park located along the north side of SW Green Oaks Boulevard, adjacent to the Arlington Public Library – Southwest Branch.
