Why the infographic is important?

Information is the collection of synthetic and analytic data which is presented in several kinds of data set i.e. article, statistics, numbers, index and raw data. These information needs to be presented and created in the form of picture which is easy to be remembered and understandable. It should interestingly reflect the change and idea. The presentation may not be that beautiful but, if it can be presented in a good timing, tremendous benefits may occur.

In the eyes of creator, good information design is questioning and researching for the data that is eligible to proceed to the new issues to society. Even the designer himself, being skeptic and questioning is very important to lead the designer to the new idea to present. One simple question can lead to further questioning i.e. who are you, what is your weight, gender, address, education, and environment. The good questioning will take us to the more complex questions, leading to how to find out the data and how to publicly present it in an interesting method which will be beneficial to audience and society.

The last Lodging _ Phornpawit Kamjun _ This concept started by asking the question about where is the last lodging. And I got the answer is death. Death is a place that everyone stays in the end forever. Most of the ceremony of any religion is cremation and burial.

Moreover, the people who passed away will leave goodness, inspiration, memory but they also left carbon dioxide and increasing graveyard because the cremation will produce carbon dioxide from burning and the problem of burial. The problem of burial is decreasing in the graveyard because nowadays some countries or states have limited areas. So, I have heard the products that turn ashes into nutrients for the tree. It is “Capsula Mundi.” In the future, they will develop their products for putting a body in it.

If everyone cut the words “faith, culture, and tradition,” we aim to a truth. The truth is our world will face climate change. And everyone should take action with this situation.

When people pass away from this world, we will leave something such as goodness, inspiration, or problem. Capsula Mundi is a cultural and broad-based project, which envisions a different approach to the way we think about death. It's an egg-shaped pod, an ancient and perfect form, made of biodegradable material, where our departed loved ones are placed for burial. Ashes will be held in small egg-shaped urns while bodies will be laid down in a fetal position in larger pods.

The Capsula will then be buried as a seed in the earth. A tree, chosen in life by the deceased, will be planted on top of it and serve as a memorial for the departed and as a legacy for posterity and the future of our planet. Family and friends will continue to care for the tree as it grows. Cemeteries will acquire a new look and, instead of the cold grey landscape we see today, they will grow into vibrant woodlands, sacred forests.

The future Capsular Mundi will develop products to put the whole body and this just one solution that can help the world. In the end, everyone should take responsibility.

What should street vendor be? _ Thunkamol Sasithanaparakul _ We all know that all the street vendors used to face a serious problem of loss in customers due to the COVID-19 situation in Thailand. ‘What should Street vendor be?’ is a project that is trying to theorize the possibility of street vendors in the near future that might help reduce the stress when facing the same situation.

1. Store & Queue: the street vendor that has the same style but added some new protective gear to provide safety to the food and ingredient from germs, together with queue management in front of their vendor.

2. Table & Seat: tables that have a smaller size to help distance the customer, and a guarding plastic sheet as an additional item to the table.

3. Space within the store: by implementing the idea of social distancing to the street vendors, the layout of the store will change to help distance the customer. Moreover, the customer will have a positive thought to street vendors because of the well-organized space.

Neo living hostel _ Natthanicha Kothep _ ‘Neo living hostel’, it’s the lodging of the future is a space for the digital natives and Adjust the usable space for the behavior of each religion in the future with the invention of lots of automation technologies featuring IOT and AI, home automation has become a reality.

For developing a prototype on the home of the future and making people of different religions can live together by adjusting the usable space for the behavior of each religion in the future by using the remote control as a key card.

Bangkok Lifesttyle 2030 _ Asst.Prof. Nattanan Naewmalee _ ‘Bangkok Lifestyle 2030’, it’s all about Bangkok in the future where the fashionista and capitalism embedded.

We would like to present the new fashion item that will not exist but representing the real problems when talking about Bangkok.

1. Street cable tote bags: The complexity of Bangkok’s street cable is a kind of beauty like an art piece but also looks very dangerous from the thousands of cables. It is a remarkable sign of high technology which should be presented on the ‘save-the-Earth’ Tote Bag. 2. ZAPP-jung (look great) earrings set: Bangkok are the famous for the noise from a ton of cars causing bad traffic and trash pollution i.e. on the footpath. The earrings are reflecting the daily problems that we have been hearing for decades.

3. High heels “Leard-sooddd (fabulous)”: Bangkok is the land of food. We have a lot of food culture everywhere such as our famous “Thai Street food”. However, one of the big problems in our country is a huge social gap between the rich and poor people. We can see the cheap street food in front of the fine dining restaurant. So we created the pattern of food from fresh market and street food representing the low-class food painted on the high heels representing the hi-end society.

4. Garland Trash T-Shirt, representing the out-of-system occupation from the inequality of social status which is the cause of educational and other social problems. We are familier with seeing many children wandering on the street, selling the garlands which then become the trash. Also, it shows us the picture of those illegal labors using children’s innosense as the selling point.

Trash Clothing? _ Nguyen Duc Hung (Andy) _ Background: Fashion Industry Statistics. The global apparel market is valued at 3 trillion dollars, 3,000 billion, and accounts for 2 percent of the world’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). Almost 75% of the world’s fashion market is concentrated in Europe, USA, China and Japan. United Nations Alliance on Sustainable Fashion reports the fashion industry employs over 75 million people worldwide. Second to oil, the clothing and textile industry is the largest polluter in the world. United Nations Climate Change News states, the fashion industry contributes 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions due to its long supply chains and energy intensive production. The US is the largest importer of garments in the world; nearly 40% of apparel products sold in the US are imported from China.

Project Objective: The acrylic fiber. How, what, and why this type of fiber harms to the environment and the Earth.

Expected result: To help people know how fashion industries are doing nowadays.

To remind people the situation of the Earth.

To guide people how to consume and protect the Earth at the same time.

1. The Breath is a company that invent this absorbent fabric. I would like to show how it works and how many layers of this fabric.

2. T-shirt: Showing how many meters of fabric can produce one t-shirt and how many t-shirts can absorb pollution from one car. Moreover, Thailand has cars around 40,000,000 unit. So, how many t-shirts have to produce to absorb all pollution from cars in Thailand.

Edible insect _ Sitthidech Sutthisakphakdee _ ‘The Edible insect project is going to show how healthy when we eat insects as the main food in the future and comparison insects and animals. We show about calories in insects and how we can use an insect to make food, how it good and look delicious. To make humans want to eat an insect, know more about insects, and know about when insects mixed with food I create graphic information to let everyone know.

1. 12 kinds of insects: This page shows the kinds of insects and how many calories of each insect.

2. Food that can mix with insects: In this page showing that insects can mix or recreate a new menu with our food and it has a lot that insects can mix with it. Example of Thai food (Asia) and European food.

3.Pictures and Insect powder: This page tells about insects that are very important for our future and insect protein powder can give us high proteins.

Fly Food to the Future _ Chonlathee Jaywaree _ This project has the intention to show the possible way of the food trend that might be going to be in the future along with the new innovation and technology. Since the consumption behavior of people has been changed for many years through the digital generation, we can see very obviously how great of digitalization as a big wave that everyone should be aware of, especially in the food industry. In this scenario, I will focus more on “food delivery” that has grown rapidly in a short period of time. To make people understand and see the future as the picture the most effectively, I divided the information and artwork into 3 parts: 1. Comparison of Food Delivery Brands in Thailand: In this section, there is a comparison between 3 popular food delivery brands on the given factors including the speed of the service, charged prices, variety of food and etc. This information can be used in the present time and will be useful to predict the food trend in the future.

2. The food consumption behavior in the present time: Showing the way of consumption in workflow since ordering from the restaurant along the way to home. There are some food delivery services provided, still, there are some disadvantages problems that everyone should realize and solve.

3. The food consumption behavior that has a great possibility to be in the future: Based on the research and analysis, it can show the tendency of how effective food delivery will be in the future. Also, there is a solution to the existing problems nowadays. Somethings have to be seriously developed along with the food delivery service such as the food packaging materials.

Dehumanization and Its Cure _ Ajarn Checkchanok Bullakul _ 1. Background: Inspired from the movie Blackkklansman directed by Spike Lee comes the incredible true story of an American hero. It’s the early 1970s, and Ron Stallworth (John David Washington) is the first African-American detective to serve in the Colorado Springs Police Department. Determined to make a name for himself, Stallworth bravely sets out on a dangerous mission: infiltrate and expose the Ku Klux Klan. With this millennial yet still on-going issues may be it is time observe more into ourself and try to understand why? Psychologists are no strangers to this subject. But the prevailing wisdom has been that most people are not willing to admit to having prejudice against others.

Cultural perspective required practice and understanding while most people tend to gear toward cultural relativism which more of ignorance and blind yet wait to explode in conflict for self-benefit.

This idea is sound a little surreal but it has developing right now by Elon Musk’s start up company. I would like to publish this idea in the way of respect and also sarcastic at the same time by making it look like an interface because the first idea of this technology is to make people merge into a digital realm.

3D PRINTING MEDICINE FOR MSUD _ Maytaporn Suppaso _ This project is about 3D printing medicine for people with the rare metabolic disorder,maple syrup urine disease (MSUD). Because this disease is unable to consume protein nutrients, the medicine used to treat it must be specific medicine, and the treatment took quite a long time. So 3D printer is another way to help in the treatment. It reduces the time and makes the treatment of MSUD more accurate.

QR code medicine _ Tul Ruckcoo _ QR code medicine The problem of medicine is how to know the properties of medicine quickly and correctly and make it understandable and protect against wrong medication and fake medicine. Professor Jukka Rantanen, researchers at the University of Copenhagen have developed a new method to produce medicine. They print medical drugs in QR coded patterns onto an edible material. The production can be tailored to fit each patient and has the potential to protect against wrong medication and fake medicine according to the researchers.

QR code medicine application I design an UI of QR code medicine application concept to support QR code medicine by using International Typographic Style (ITS) to be the main graphic style and layout in application. In order to, keep it as simple and professional as possible, users can focus more on information. Within the QR code medicine application, necessary information will be included and make it easy to access and understand. To catch up the technology and go further, I also design the Augmented Reality Technology (AR) as a special option to scan QR code medicine.
