K+ P Foundation News Chairman’s comment What a great personal honour it is that I was asked and elected to chair this Board on behalf of the Kariyarra and Palyku people. I am aware that it will be a very demanding position. I can assure the people of both communities that I will endeavour to work with them to achieve the common goals of all those involved. As far as I know this is the first time that two communities have chosen to combine their resources to collaborate on the delivery of sustainable, environmentally friendly and socially responsible projects and enterprise opportunities for their people. I look forward to being in the Pilbara country again and meeting people in the Kariyarra and Palyku communities. Together we can work to make our dreams a reality. It will be an exciting, challenging and worthwhile journey for all of us and perhaps a useful example for other communities in the future. Antoine Bloemen Chairman
