DESCRIPTION
Grants PR100 Primer is a fast-drying water based acrylic primer. Used for porous and non-porous substrates such as existing tiles, Vinyl and carpet and vinyl adhesive residue. Can be used over old water based paints (not to be used over oil based paints).

COVERAGE
Can cover approximately 9m2 per litre for porous substrates.

It can also cover approximately 6m2 per litre for non-porous substrates.
CURING TIME
25 minutes for porous substrates, prior to tiling or waterproofing.

PACKAGING
Available in both 1 litre & 5 litre containers.
SURFACE PREPARATION
The substrate must be clean, solid, compact, crack free, properly cured, free from rising damp, dust, oil, grease, wax, curing compounds, cement laitance and loose particles. The substrate must be installed in accordance with the relevant standards and manufacturer recommendations. Consult the National Tiles Team for further information.
APPLICATIONS
Mix well before use. Apply with a brush or roller onto the substrate. Ensure the product is evenly spread onto the entire surface. Once the PR100 is dry (Approx 1 hour at 23˚C) you can apply a levelling compound or tile adhesive over it.
COVERAGE
Approximately 5m2 / litre depending upon the porosity of the substrate.
PRECAUTIONS
• Do not apply PR100 on substrates subject to rising damp
• Do not apply PR100 on tiles that have wax or any other contaminants
SHELF LIFE
Grants PR100 has a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original unopened bottle in dry conditions. High temperature and humid conditions may reduce the overall shelf life.
It is recommended to store out of direct sunlight and directly off cold floors.
