DESCRIPTION

Grants AD 200 Additive is a concentrated white acrylic liquid to be used with cement based tile adhesives. Ideal for immersed tiling applications such as swimming pools and spas etc. Can be used with grouts to increase f lexibility and strength. Master additive can be mixed with sand and cement screeds to increase strength.

PACKAGING

Available in both 5 litre & 20 litre containers.

SURFACE PREPARATION

The surface must be clean, dry, firm and free of dust oil, grease, wax and curing compounds. The substrate must be installed according to the relevant standards and manufacturer recommendations. All porous surfaces must be primed with Grants PR100, 3 parts water to one part primer. For non-porous surfaces such as existing tiles, adhesives must be primed using Grants PR100 Primer neat. Please contact National Tiles for further information.

MIXING

• Tiling in immersed situations: Mix 1 part additive to 2 parts water

• Grout additive: Mix 1 part additive to 3 parts water

• Sand cement screeds: Mix 1 part additive to 3 parts water

MOVEMENT JOINTS

Movement joints must be in accordance with Australian Standards AS 3958.

PRECAUTIONS

When tiling externally that is above 2.7m high please contact National Tiles for further information.

SHELF LIFE

Grants AD200 Additive has a shelf life of 24 months from date of manufacture when stored in the original unopened container in dry conditions. High temperature and humid conditions may reduce the overall shelf life. It is recommended to store out of direct sunlight and directly off cold floors.
