To have the power it’s always been taken out of control. People who have or think they have power crave power think they are above everyone else, take advantage of people who they see or think are less powerful. Freedom to me is to be free from all the hurt and pain that lives within me the nasty darkness, that life has given me and still continues to hurt me every day. I want to see what happens and me to be strong. What does power and freedom mean to you?_Helen ,BWP

Decorating my house Baking Reading my holy Quran._Heya During the lock down I tried to keep myself busy by working at the garden, reading and spending time with my boys. The positive side of the lock down is the strength, connection between family members. _Heya

Summer - Autumn 2021 “Between June to July I was commissioned by the National Justice Mwuseum to facilitate a series of creative sessions with participants from Broxtowe Women’s Project and Heya Nottingham (empowering Arab women) producing creative content and co-designing this stunning zine. The zine project is inspired by the Power: Freedom to Create exhibition at the National Justice Museum, a coproduced exhibition of art made by people who have had their freedom taken away from them. The women created collage, text, soap carvings, artwork and writing considering how we use creativity to get through difficult times in our lives. I hope the zine inspires anyone who sees it.
