MESSAGE TO MEMBERS

Dear TCAN Members,

As 2025 unfolds, we are reminded of the vital role TCAN plays in the cultural life of our community—and of the essential role you play in keeping it strong. Thanks to your continued support, TCAN remains a place where the arts thrive, audiences feel at home, and future generations can discover the magic of live performance and film.

This year marks a significant moment for us. We are deep into a strategic planning process that will guide TCAN’s next five years, and your feedback is helping to shape that vision in meaningful ways. From artistic programming to community engagement, your voice ensures that TCAN remains a vital, inclusive, and forward-looking institution.

We are also excited to share some important developments behind the scenes. In January, we received a $63,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council—one of the largest in our history. In addition, your generous support of our capital campaign, helped us complete a major upgrade to our venue: the installation of 278 new, comfortable mainstage seats with retractable cushions. Early feedback from patrons has been overwhelmingly positive, and we are thrilled to offer a more accessible and welcoming experience for all.

Looking ahead, our programming continues to grow in exciting directions. This summer, we’ll once again partner with Lookout Farm to present Carbon Leaf outdoors, and our Pocket Full of Tales summer workshops are already filling up quickly. We are also launching Rock on Film, a new cinema series exploring music through the lens of film, and welcoming back National Theatre Live with a beautifully staged production of The Importance of Being Earnest.

Of course, we are especially proud to support young artists through our 7th Annual Metrowest Student Film Festival, which showcases the creativity of the next generation. Moments like these remind us why preserving TCAN’s mission matters—not just for today, but for tomorrow.

Thank you for standing with us. Your membership makes all of this possible, and more.

Warmly,
