2024 is off to an absolute flyer and as we enter the second quarter it’s time to reflect on the market performance so far. One word to describe these last 3 months is ….
‘Random’; But why?
Interestingly enough, we can see suburbs side by side offering a similar product, performing at different levels. A great example of this is in Pimpam and Ormeau, Pimpama we are seeing low levels of stock and immense buyer competition with buyer competition similar to that of the Covid ‘boom’ marketplace, whereas in Ormeau we are seeing an increase in stock with moderate levels of buyer competition.
One market we have noticed a considerable change in is the Acreage marketplace. Since the Christmas storm, we have seen a dramatic drop in buyer interest with aged stock increasing and days on market blowing out. Could this be the best buying opportunity right now?
Overall however, the Gold Coast market is performing at a high level with relatively low stock and no signs of that changing in the near future. If you’ve been considering selling, now could be a great time to start conversing with our team on a plan to maximise your result.
