School Goals
State Goals
Safe & Welcoming Environment
· All students will grow academically and socially. · We will have strong connections between staff, students and families. · All students will take ownership for their learning and growth. · All students will be excited to attend school every day because “their” learning is engaging. · We enrich our curricula by integrating the “arts.” · Students use strategies to self-regulate behavior and problem solve.
The Oregon Department of Education is partnering with school districts and local communities to ensure a 90% ontime, four year graduation rate by 2025. To progress toward this goal, the state will prioritize efforts to improve attendance, provide a well-rounded education, invest in implementing culturally responsive practices, and promote continuous improvement to close opportunity and achievement gaps for historically and currently underserved students.
Redmond schools strive to ensure that all students and their parents feel welcome. · We provide bilingual support services for parents whose first language is not English. Interpreters are provided form conferences and meetings. · Important communications sent home through mail, phone, or text are translated for easy access. Additionally, the district takes steps to ensure safe schools through security measures designed to protect students and staff from threats both inside and outside our buildings.

Safe & Welcoming Environment
Our continuous improvement plan is to decrease the student achievement gap by addressing the following elements: · Creating genuine relationships to inspire growth and achievement. · Provide meaningful learning opportunities for all students. · Support students to thrive emotionally, socially, and intellectually. · Continue to build upon our AVID elective and schoolwide systems. · Refine our reading and math interventions by using additional data to monitor progress.
Redmond School District strives to ensure a safe learning environment for all students by creating a welcoming and inclusive culture. Our school implements a multi-tiered system of support to promote positive, safe and respectful behavior among our students. We actively partner with families to achieve success for all students. This includes encouraging all of our students to speak up when they see or experience bullying or harassment.
