UN-HOUSE

This project explores how a building interacts with its environment, beyond just its occupants.

Utilizing the “site” (in this case a cube), pushing, pulling, and carving out elements informed the final design.

THE VAULT

The Vault is an art museum located in Central Park that utilizes the site’s topography to create the final design.

With glazing applied to the rib-like structure, a dome that faces the West side, and a large window facing the East side, allowfor a (nearly) 360 degree view of Central Park.

CONCEPT

Using the final study model, understanding what elements should be brought into the design was drawn/sketched over the image.

1: “Bringing the outside in”

2: Natural Lighting

3: Accessability

4: Views that overseemost surroundings

CROWN GROVE

Crown Grove is a community center located in Crown Heights Brooklyn. This building was created with the intent of uniting the community with healthier food options and access to recreational activites.

Upon researching the site, there used to be a supermarket that has been demolished for years. It was important to include one in this project as this neighborhood lacks access to fresh ingredients.
