Legacy Bricks Update Keep your eyes peeled for our new, improved Legacy Bricks The oldest Legacy Bricks on display in David Braun Park are 16 years old, and the relentless Texas summer sun has really taken a toll on them. Many of the bricks have faded, and so has the black engraving

Starting in June, our new bricks will be made of clay, not concrete, because these will retain their color much longer Also, the text on the bricks will be laser-engraved, a technique which will also last much longer. We’re currently researching the best way to refurbish the original Bricks and get them looking great again

Our volunteers are the life blood of CANBE’s projects in the community. Folks have pitched in to clean the legacy bricks, to set up and manage the Reindeer Fun Run, to restock the Duck Feeders and maintain the Little Free Libraries They have donated the use of vehicles and helped in so many other ways To show our gratitude, we’ll be presenting our ILove-Nassau Bay lapel/hat pins to everyone who has a roll in helping CANBE make this great community even better.

Please visit NassauBayCANBE.org, follow our Facebook group, and see our posts on NextDoor We welcome your support and ideas We’ll soon be kicking off plans for the 2025 Reindeer Fun Run, so stay tuned for info. Let’s make Nassau Bay even better!
