ill Loftus, director of the Navy’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response Office visits Naval Air Station Key West next week to meet with Sailors at a series of focus groups.

Loftus serves as the Secretary of the Navy’s principal point of accountability for all sexual assault policy matters and as the primary resource for expert SAPR assessment, program support, and oversight. Loftus and her team, who arrive Wednesday, will host focus groups

aval Supply Systems Command Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville has selected Gina Sonzogni, senior systems analyst at Naval Air Station Key West, as its 2016 Senior Civilian of the Year. Sonzogni’s customer service skills and “team player” attitude were just a few of the attributes noted in her selection from a field of 167 colleagues, noted an FLC news release. A NAS civilian employee for nearly 28 years, she joined the Supply Department after graduating Key West High School in 1988. “Her extreme ability to multitask makes her one of our most valuable employees,” said Diane Moll, deputy site director, NAVSUP FLCJ Key West. “Gina is the type of person who can do it all - from fixing an IT issue or covering an see COY page 3

The unit is training with Customs and Border Patrol as well as practicing rescue hoists off of Naval Air Station Key West’s Boca Chica Field. The Soldiers, flying two Lakota helicopter, are from Detachment 1, Company B, 2nd Battalion, 151st Aviation Regiment and are training here for two weeks.
