aval Air Station Key West commemorated the 73rd anniversary of the Battle of Midway with a
ceremony Thursday at the Chief Petty Officer Mess aboard Boca Chica Field. The commemoration was organized and hosted by the NAS Key West’s Southernmost First Class Petty Officer Association.
The Battle of Midway is regarded as a critical turning point in the Pacific during World War II. “The lessons of the Battle of Midway endure; we are a maritime nation and our security will always
