t’s no secret that Key West is a hot, tropical place to live and visit. The temperature hovers at or above 80 degrees for most of the year. For anyone visiting Key West, a means to beat the heat is necessary and one of the best ways is with ice. Navy Gateway Inns and Suites, which provides more than 600 rooms to military members and retirees, is catering to it customers’ need to chill by upgrading its ice machines. NGIS is replacing all of its aging machines at its facilities on Boca Chica Field, Trumbo Point and Truman Annex. “We have replaced the machines in the NGIS buildings at Truman Annex and we are in the see ice page 8
