https://goo.gl/maps/eCDDAFDbWrj #THE STORIES At the peak of the Delta Aquarids meteor shower, my astronomical community, Surabaya Astronomy Club, conducted observations together. Housed in the home of an our member, cak Usman Sirojuddin, in Gedangan subdistrict, Sidoarjo city, a city located in
the south of Indonesia's second largest city,Surabaya. We choose this place because the sky is relatively darker than urban Surabaya. so it more ideal for the observation of meteor showers . All night long we were looking forward meteor rain, no one meteor was raining, which fell instead just real heavy water rain. While waiting for the rain to stop, we were chatting a variety of things, sharing experiences, and I began to tell all the activities that I follow along NASE two days earlier. I was a bit of explaining some of the subject matterial that we learned in the course, which lasted for four days. Not to forget, my "astronomer's briefcast" blue tote bag contained all astronomical equipment. Shows all of the usefulness of each equipment. Starting from the quadrant, sundial, horizontal goniometer, spectroscope, measure angles ruler, solar and stellar demonstrator. I'm also open NASE files material of each apparatus while showing how the respective equipment. Outside the house, the rain never let up, immersive atmosphere until dawn. Throughout the night it also seemed to be on a miniature of NASE course. any interesting experiences during the training I tell them. Many are excited about the story, some of them regret that they missed the NASE program. Well, it's not easy to take the time or get permission off 4 consecutive days for most members of the astronomy community we are mostly workers, college and students. They hope someday NASE back here again, opens a second chance.
