SPAIN MAY
2021
Activities
carried
out
after
NASE
course
Location: IES Torrevicens (Generalitat de Catalunya) / Lleida (SPAIN)
Contents of the activity:
4th ESO students have performed the Herschel infrared experiment (15 and 16 year old students)
We used workshop 5 of NASE. Light Day was Sunday, May 16, and for that reason, we did this experiment that shows
that
red
visible
light
has
more
energy than
blue.
Taught at secondary students (4th ESO) Sequence: Day 1 - Create the box and read the Herschel experiment. Understand electromagnetic
waves
and
the
visible.
Day 2 - Go to a sunny place and take action. Reflect that the shade temperature is lower than in the thermometer on the blue color (the blue color provides energy). The blue one is lower than the red one (the red one is energetically higher). Dates: May 2021 Professor in charge: Andreu Arbó Trabado
