Location: IES Torrevicens (Generalitat de Catalunya) / Lleida (SPAIN)
Contents of the activity: In the topic "Trigonometry" in 4th grade mathematics we used workshop 4 (students of 15 or 16 years old).
Students have created a quadrant to measure the angle of inclination of objects (including the height in the building, we also tried to measure the height in the clouds). Sequencing: Day 1 - 1h - Reading of workshop 4 (young astronomer briefcase) construction of a quadrant Day 2 - work at home - finish making the quadrant Day 3 - 1h - Take action. Calculations in class. Conclusions
