The Office of Student Life The mission of Student Life is to support the development of the whole student by providing opportunities to connect and learn from other students, faculty, and staff through serving in student government, being part of a campus club or committee, by attending an event or conference on campus, or by utilizing services we offer such as obtaining a Student ID or visiting the Student Food Basket.

Student Life values and supports the college experience, social justice, building community, respect for all people, learning from each other, and having fun.

The Office of Student Life- Student Food Basket & CalFresh NVC Student Food Basket

CalFresh

The Student Food Basket is a program that any current NVC students can utilize once every 30 days to receive 2-3 bags of assorted groceries. It operates as a drive through system outside of the 900 building.

CalFresh is a California federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as the Food Stamp program, which provides financial assistance for purchasing food to low-income students. Benefits received from CalFresh is free money and students do not have to pay it back. Our rate of students getting approved is very high, as we make it our goal to support our students through the complete process.

ASNVC is the student body government.

ASNVC Members are They are here to ensure that student elected to their office by voices are heard, positively affect their fellow students. If you campus culture, and provide fair student are interested in running as representation on campus committees a candidate please note and events. Clubs

At the Office of Student Life we take pride in providing support to our student clubs. Napa Valley College currently holds the home to 20 + clubs on campus.

Clubs play a major role in sharing a safe space with students who share the same interest, interested in student building and connections as well as being able to implement and initiate change.
