BEHIND THE LENS My Artist Statement My photographs express the relationship between my eyes and my camera, because thanks to these two things, I can create great photographs of food. Ever since I remember, I have always enjoyed taking photos, and knew that would change my life. I remember the day when I was introduced to the world of photography. I realized that day that I was born with the talent of creating pictures, and I found my ability to easily maneuver the camera. I have a very present and very vivid memory in my head of the first portrait picture I took of my sister, a photo that I used for one of my first photography classes. My first photographs were spontaneous and were able to capture the beautiful moments of life. The time I devoted and my passion for photography has led me to develop a great interest in culinary photography.
