Rohan, a former IT professional, is currently engaged in agricultural pursuits on approximately 9 acres of land in Darakwadi, adjacent to Sahyadri School and the Bhima River. He had chosen to opting sustainable farming and wished for a Storage and Processing Unit along with a CareTaker unit through a sustainable approach towards it.

The Form created spaces that are sufficiently open yet closed and private enough. The Store spaces are connected with the processing and other spaces through a common corridor inspired from Wadas. The form of the space also creates indirect courtyards catering to activities like drying and creating informal seating and leisure spaces.
Wall Jaali components can be added through wattle panels made out of Bamboo providing a connect to the external environment. It also acts an element resisting harsh radiation and keeping spaces cool and airy.

Panchal Dairy Private Limited is a youth run otganization for the pastoral community (Maldharis) from Sayla, Gujarat. They passionate about artisanal cheesemaking whilst providing livelihood for the pastoral community. The design required for a designed space used as Cheese Processing Unit and could be flexible to be convertible as a residential unit upon unfavourable circumstances.

STAIRCASE & LEAF EMBOSSMENT
Shuttering is done for staricase running from ground to basement. Leaves with thick and vibrant veins are collected and pinned against the shuttering wooden panels before casting. before casting oiling is done to form a lubricant layer on top of the leaf to leave a mark post removal of the shuttering.

Case Study | Model Making | Game design
Sharjah Architecture Triennial is an initiative by th Sharjah Government to initiate dialogue on art, architecture and urbanism in the Middle East, North and East Africa, South and Southeast Asia. Hunnarshala was invited to present their works at the prestigious exhibition it called for a creative representation of Hunnarshala’s work at RamdevNagar - slum redevelopment through an interactive Architectural Game.
RAY is a housing scheme launched in a mission mode under JNNURM to make India slum free by 2022 by providing appropriate housing to slum dwellers and addressing the issues that cause creation of slums.
Hunnarshala Foundation has been appointed as the Project Management Agency for implementation of RAY three slums in Bhuj, Gujarat by Bhuj Nagar Palika. 314 houses shall be built in 3 slums; Bhim Rao-1 Nagar, Ramdev Nagar and GIDC relocation site.
Hunnarshala upon being invited by Sharjah Architecture Triennial wished to develop a game revolving around Hunnarshala’s work with slum Redevelopment. The design meets various requirements of the communities as per their needs & beliefs.
Hunnarshala implemented 7 designs in 3 slum redevelopmets among which 5 designs were analysed and worked upon for the game development. The designs worked on permutations and combinations of common spaces as per the locals beliefs and requirements.

Aabhat Community Empowerment Unit of Hunnarshala wished for their own website that can form an easy connect to the audience and doners looking forward to make their contribution towards community betterment through architecture. The website shall also act as a profile compilation of Aabhat studio architectural works. The page catered to various audience ranging from doner to clients to students for educational workshsops etc which posed a tricky challenge to bring them together through one platform.
