Crosstoberfest benefits Road & Dirt, a non-profit organization that promotes cycling events in our community while introducing the fun of cycling to our youth.

SATURDAY 11:00am Races start and brew starts flowing. It's a Bike + BEER festival, bring your ID if you plan on drinking. Brewfest $25 or $5 Driver. DJ Human D-jay destroying the PA during races. 3:30pm Live Music from Up A Creek & Sheep Bridge Jumpers Race registrations are accepted the day of race. (Time trials are free with race registration.) TASTING NOTES BOULEVARD TANK 7 FARMHOUSE ALE: A straw colored, light- to medium-bodied beer with an earthy, spicy, grapefruit aroma and a soft, sweet malt flavor with a prominent hop bitterness.

BALLAST POINT SCULPIN IPA: Hints of apricot, peach, mango and lemon flavors, but still packs a bit of a sting, just like a Sculpin fish. BLACK MARLIN PORTER: roasted and crystallized malts that give it a smooth, chocolaty, caramel profile with a healthy dose of American hops to serve up full-bodied flavor.

ALE 208: This crisp drinkable ale has a light malt body and subtle yet citrusy hop character. It’s brewed with 100% Idaho grown grain, hops and pure Idaho spring water. SWEETGRASS APA: 2009 Great American Beer Festival Gold Medal winner in the American Pale Ale category, this crisp and fragrant beer is hopped and dry-hopped with plenty of American Northwest Pacific hops. PURSUIT OF HOPPINESS IMPERIAL RED ALE is brewed to showcase the brash beauty of American hops. This ale is brewed with Idaho 2-row malted barley and German specialty malts to provide a rich, slightly caramel flavor and bold reddish color. FEST BIER: Brewed it in the spring with 2-Row malted barley, CaraHell and Vienna malts, hopped it with German Tradition, and fermented it at low temperatures with lager yeast from a monastery brewery near Munich. As one would expect, Fest Bier’s mildly sweet flavors are the perfect accompaniment to German foods.

GREENFLASH GREEN BULLET leaps onto your palate with bold, spicy pine and citrus flavors including tropical notes of mango and pineapple. The aggressive yet wellbalanced finish will stun the senses of even the most skilled hop hunter. WEST COAST IPA: Simcoe for tropical fruit and grapefruit zest, Columbus for hop pungency, Centennial for pine notes, Citra for citrus zest and Cascade for floral aroma are layered throughout the brewing process. West Coast IPA exemplifies the Green Flash spirit of adventure and discovery.

219-ER: The aroma is grainy with some corn, color is light straw with brilliant clarity. Light malt notes are balanced with a very subtle Willamette hop presence. PUREBRED A.P.A.: The first in our Purebred series of single hop A.P.A.s showcases the hop variety Citra. These are used for everything from bittering and flavor to aroma. The soft bitterness of the Citra hop makes this an extremely drinkable beer.


LAURELWOOD

FREE RANGE RED ALE Free Range Red is a rich copper-colored ale with loads of fresh hop flavor. Medium in body the caramel sweetness blends wonderfully with the smooth hop flavor creating a balanced, super drinkable beer. LAURELWOOD PUMPKIN ALE A smooth and silky amber strong ale with a warm and spicy nose and rich body, which will set you aglow like a jack o’lantern.

NEW BELGIUM

PUMPKICK ALE: Pumpkick is brewed up with plenty of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and allspice, but it’s the unexpected kick of cranberries that brightens this traditionally spiced seasonal ale. Some oats were added to cream up the mouthfeel and the finish is quick and dry.

NINKASI

OKTOBERFEST: The hallmark of this Dortmund-style pale lager is the balance between perceptible Noble hop bitterness and rounded malt flavor; making it deliciously easy to drink. TOTAL DOMINATION IPA has a citrusy, floral hop aroma, and big hop flavor balanced with a richness imparted by Carahell and Munich malts. This beer is a big flavorful Northwest IPA that maintains its drinkability, and as such, has garnered great admiration from the novice craft drinker and the seasoned hop-head alike.

NORTHWEST BREWING CO. JOKER AMBER ALE: Ahis amber ale is classic to the Pacific Northwest style. It combines Premium 2-row, Aromatic, Melanoidin, and Crystal malts to form a pleasant malt base which is complimented by Crystal and Mt. Hood hops to create a beautifully balanced beer.

NO-LI BORN & RAISED IPA: Big, bold copper-colored ale with a citrus and piney flavor, and a hint of mint. SPIN CYCLE RED: A celebration of the classic English-style ESB. The perfect balance of malt and hops create an enjoyable and quaffable red ale. Spin Cycle's specialty malts combine to provide an aroma of lightly toasted bread and caramel, while additions of American Noble hops add an herbal flavor for balance.

OAKSHIRE BREWING WATERSHED IPA: A Northwest-style India Pale Ale highlights our region's best hops. Crisp, dry and refreshing, this dry-hopped IPA is very smooth and easy to drink. OVERCAST ESPRESSO STOUT: a dark, silky oatmeal stout that is rich, smooth and full of coffee flavor and aroma.

This beer starts with our Ketchum Cream Ale and ages it on pumpkin pie filling and pumpkin pie spice to give it a smooth, clean flavor. OUT COLD WINTER ALE: A Beer for the long winter nights. Brewed with a hearty grain bill, molasses and using British yeast and hops; the beer will have you "out cold" before midnight and ready for the slopes the next morning.

PUMPKIN ALE: Golden in color, but light in body this beer finishes with a light pumpkin spice OKTOBERFEST: Sweet toasted biscuit- like malt aroma, with a low hop flavor. DNT SCOTCH ALE: Rich dominate sweet malt flavor with a low hop aroma, but a full bodied beer.

SNAKE RIVER MR. BREEZLEY'S BROWN: Great granpa’s classic with a generous dose of American style hops but with all the chocolate malt retained from the original. PAKO'S EYE-P-PAKO'S IPA.: This golden ale is a full flavored, fully hop-evident IPA that will have the hopheads rejoicing. A pungent Simcoe/Columbus blend produces both bitterness and an explosive hop aroma. KARK KRISTALL: Bavarian style Dunkleweizen (dark wheat) is fermented with a yeast that creates subtle flavors of fruit and spice. This is a filtered, darker version of our Hoback Hefeweizen. It’s brewed with chocolate rye malt in the grain bill that adds color and roasted flavors.

STONE BREWING

CHOCOLATE MOCHA STOUT: Cocoa and cinnamon are at the forefront. The coffee, nutmeg and vanilla follow, and the fruitiness and heat of the pasilla peppers come through nicely on the finish. GO TO IPA: The hop aromatics blow everything else out of the water. Intense peach, citrus and melon flavors dominate the aroma in the best possible way. Hop flavors continue to dominate, but are balanced by just enough malt to keep things reasonably in balance.

SUN VALLEY BREWING CRANKY UBER IPA: A hop heavy, IPA that strikes a smooth balance between hoppiness and maltiness to achieve an exquisitely rich caramel and citrus flavor an Floral aroma. OKTOBERFEST: Rich, Ruby-red, hearty with a smooth malty finish. Cousin of MARZEN, it is the ULTIMATE balance of malt & hops. BIG LOST PORTER: A big porter with massive roasty and chocolate notes and an underlying assertive hoppiness that Compliments the full bodied mouth feel. Slightly caramelly and finishes with an espresso and toffee flavor. CABIN FEVER SCOTTISH ALE: Scottish Weet Heavy style beer which is the strongest of Scottish Ales. A dark, reddish tan color and an accompanying deep maltiness gives rise to high alcohol content. This fine winter ale finishes clean with a roasty, almost burnt toffee flavor.
