Welcome to the Pooch Party Stroll & Splash, Nampa’s largest dog festival!

The Pooch Party includes a dog-swim, raffle, pet-friendly booths, 1-mile dog walk, contests & prizes. This event has grown to over 350 dogs and 1,000 people! Last year the event raised over $8,000 for the Nampa Dog Park!

Nampa’s Pooch Party Stroll & Splash began in 2007 as the Pooch Pool Party, a dog-only swimming event that provided funding for the Nampa Dog Park. During the event, dogs and their owners enjoyed hours of play at Lakeview pool. Today the party attracts hundreds of people and dogs and has expanded to include even more activities and entertainment for dogs and their owners. Proceeds continue to help fund Nampa Dog Park amenities.

We invite you to partner with the Nampa Parks and Recreation Department by sponsoring the 8th Annual Pooch Party Stroll & Splash, August 29, 2015 at Lakeview Park. The Pooch Party provides a great opportunity to market your business to a targeted audience of dog owners. Your involvement would also demonstrate your support for the Nampa Dog Park because all proceeds help fund amenities at the park.

Proceeds Support

The Nampa Dog Park opened in July 2009 and has quickly become one of the most widely used parks in Nampa. This six-acre, fully fenced, off-leash dog park provides a safe place for people and their pets to socialize among expansive grassy areas, walking trails and shade shelters.

The Pooch Party Stroll & Splash is one of several, ongoing fundraising efforts benefiting the Nampa Dog Park. Last year the event raised over $8,000 for the Nampa Dog Park.

While significant progress has been made, we need your help to complete the park’s permanent restroom facilities as well as continued improvement and general upkeep.
