TransNamib has a new look Floris Steenkamp
National rail carrier TransNamib has shown an 8 % increase in rail freight volumes during the past year and also revenue improvements of 7 %. This good news was shared with the Namibian public on Wednesday, during the launch of TransNamib's new corporate image. Workers Day on Wednesday Floris Steenkamp The National Union of Namibian Workers (NUNW) hosts a Worker’s Day event at the Kuisebmond stadium in Walvis Bay tomorrow (Wednesday 1 May 2019) under the theme: “Workers unite against corruption for good corporate governance and sustainable employment”. Members of unions, employers and leaders are urged to take part in this year’s event. All people are requested to report at the offices of the Namibia Food and Allied Workers Union and Namibia Transport and Allied Workers Union in Kuisebmond at 07:00 for a march to the stadium. Proceedings at the stadium commence at 08:00.
