Train accident victim Warrant of arrest issued for Henties Bay mayor dies Piquet Jacobs

Erwin Leuschner

A case of culpable homicide has been opened following the death of Ignatius Jazikama Hindjou (37), who was severely injured on Monday morning in a train accident at Walvis Bay.

A warrant of arrest was issued for Henties Bay mayor Herman Honeb on Wednesday this week, after he failed to appear in the Swakopmund magistrate's court on a charge of receiving a cattle carcass without any document or identification to confirm the origin of the meat. Honeb's co-accused in the matter, Walter "Lekkerlag" Hoeseb (37), was also absent and a warrant of arrest was also issued in his name. Honeb was arrested in June after he allegedly received the full carcass from Hoeseb and sold it for N$4 000.

Hindjou was the sole occupant and driver of the sedan vehicle struck by a train and dragged for at least 100 meters, after impact. The incident occurred around 08:00 at the Hannah Mupetami railway crossing. It is believed Hindjou did not see the oncoming train which was approaching the station from the direction of the Kuisebmond siding. Hindjou sustained serious injuries and had to be stabilised inside the vehicle first before he could be extricated from the wreckage. He was then transported to the Welwitschia Private Hospital by St Gabriel Community Ambulance Service for further care. He succumbed to his injuries on Tuesday morning, a day after the accident. His death was confirmed by Erongo Regional Crime Investigations Coordinator, Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu on Tuesday afternoon. The train driver, Hermanus Jacobus (48) was unharmed. The incident is investigated.

At the official opening of the Erongo Centre of the Cancer Association of Namibia (CAN) yesterday, the Association's Chief Executive Officer, Rolf Hansen, appealed for the Ministry of Health and Social Services to designate a ward at the Swakopmund State Hospital exclusively for cancer patients to receive chemotherapy. The new Erongo Cancer Clinic will inspire hope, activate change and impact the lives of cancer patients, proclaimed Hansen during the official opening proceedings. "Now we are taking hands and improve our lives by creating awareness, screen and treat cancer early. The team here is your foundation and your home", he said. Adding: "we want a ward from the Ministry of Health and Social Services where cancer patients can get chemotherapy. That will mean coastal patients need not to travel to Windhoek at additional expenses or have to be separated from their families". Complimenting CAN on the opening of the Erongo Regional Cancer Centre was the Deputy Minister of Health and Social Services, Juliet Kavetuna. She said in Namibia there is no other volunteering association that can match CAN. She called upon the coastal communities to go for full medical check-ups annually, in order to detect cancer at an early stage. Cancer screening is one of the mandates of the Ministry and everyone should make screening a priority", said Kavetuna. Kavetuna revealed shocking cancer statistics. One in ten people are diagnosed with cancer on a daily basis in Namibia. "Cancer has a big impact on our community. The Deputy Minister called on especially women to visit the Erongo Regional Cancer Centre and to make use of the opportunities to be screened for cancer.

Hoeseb was charged with the delivery of meat without proper documents and has an additional charge of defeating the course of justice. He allegedly handed in a hide that was not from the carcass as well as false ear tags in order to mislead the police investigating officer. After an initial appearance, Honeb and Hoeseb were released on bail of N$4 000-00 each. The case was remanded several times before. It was again scheduled for this week, but when both accused were called to appear at 12:15 on Wednesday, they were absent. State prosecutor Dalon Quickfall requested warrants of arrest issued. Magistrate Conchita Olivier subsequently issued the warrant of arrest for both accused. The case was remanded to 11 October for the fixing of a trial date.

Namport commissions turnstiles to enforce strict drug and alcohol policy The port of Walvis Bay commissioned new turnstiles this week which is expected to drastically step up security measures to keep the port a drug- and alcohol-free zone. The ports authority revised and upgraded its Drug & Alcohol Policy which now makes provision for a zero tolerance of alcohol and drugs. Said Namport's public relations department: "This new measure (gate) was necessitated by the revised Drug & Alcohol Policy which advocates for zero tolerance on drug and alcohol use within the port and gives the Security Division full authority to implement the policy through daily compulsory testing for all. Safety inside the port is of paramount importance to Namport and all measures are geared towards improving SHEQ Performance inside the Port (that of protecting our employees, visitors and port users) and maintaining our ISO certifications. The recent removal and reallocation of turnstiles was done because of identified risks when the policy was initially implemented. This turnstile will allow for safer disembarking of employees from busses without endangering themselves in moving traffic. All Port users and employees are urged to respect the policies and procedures of the company and fully comply to the daily alcohol testing process".

Parents must not assume their bad habits don’t affect their children-Day of the African Child celebrated Sharlien Tjambari

Yesterday marked the annual commemoration of the Day of the Namibian Child. This year the children in Swakopmund's DRC suburb celebrated this occasion at the Project School, thanks to the Ministry of Information and Communications Technology (MICT). According to Amos Nguaiko of MICT, this initiative by the ministry intends to aspire the children in DRC. "They are not alone and there are people who cares about them. We have joined hands with the Mayor of Swakopmund and the Junior Council who have given the children a message of hope", he explained. Nguaiko added depending on the availability of funds, the ministry intends to celebrate Day of the Namibian Child every year and include children from other informal settlements where there are similar school projects such as the DRC Project School. In her keynote address the Mayor of Swakopmund Paulina Nashilundo said: "It is imperative that we nurture our children to flourish to the best of their abilities. It is our duty as parents and elders of the community to ensure that we create a healthy and encouraging environment for our children. Our children need love, care and support."

Nashilundo further said every child has the right to grow up in a healthy environment to live, learn and play. She said "our homes, schools and communities" should be safe and free from pollutants. She cautioned parents on substance abuse and said these parents should not assume that their bad habits do not affect the children. "In fact, the effects of alcoholism on children are sometimes so profound that they last a lifetime", she explained. The Mayor mentioned other burning issues affecting children such as domestic violence. "Children who see their mothers being abused or treated with disrespect teaches boys that they can disrespect boys (sic)", she said. The Mayor mentioned the recent assault of little Laila Theron by her nanny – a story which has made international headlines. Nashilundo sent a message of comfort to the parents. "I hereby condemn these horrendous acts. She urged the community of DRC to pledge their allegiance to the safeguarding of our Namibian children".

51-year old arrested after stealing identity of Oshakati Erwin Leuschner businessman The Namibian Police has arrested a 51year old man who stole a record amount of N$4 million from a business person, after first stealing the victim's identity. Nelson Potifar Kazombiaze remains in custody after bail was denied at the Swakopmund Magistrates Court recently. According to Deputy Commissioner Erastus Iikuyu, police regional crime investigations coordinator for Erongo, Kazombiaze has been charged with fraud, forgery and uttering a forged instrument. It is alleged that the suspect initially obtained an ID duplicate of Mr Kefas Stefanus, a business man from Oshakati, from Home Affairs. With the duplicate ID, he managed to obtain a duplicate of the victim's Standard Bank credit card from the Maerua Mall Standard Bank Branch in Windhoek. This allegedly happened on 5 September. The suspect also allegedly forged the complainant's signature and increased the daily withdrawal limit of the victim's account to N$100 000. "The suspect withdrew money at various ATM's in Windhoek and transferred some money to

different accounts totaling about N$4 million,”Iikuyu said. The suspect then travelled to Swakopmund from Windhoek on Wednesday (13 September). At about 21:00 he allegedly withdrew about N$90 000 from different Standard Bank ATM's in the coastal town. Whilst he withdrew the cash some security guards at the ATM's alerted the police about a particular person withdrawing huge amounts of money. The next day (14 September) between 10:00-11:00 the suspect was arrested while he was once again trying to withdraw money at the Standard Bank Swakopmund main branch's ATM, located in the central business district. He

was found in possession of the victim's ID and credit card as well as N$9111.95 in cash. He was also in the possession of newly bought items valued a N$1400 which he is suspected to have purchased with the stolen money. Kazombiaze appeared in the Swakopmund Magistrates Court where he was denied bail. The matter was postponed to 2 November for the accused to obtain legal aid. According to Iikuyu, the preliminary investigation revealed the bank managed to reverse about N$3 million back to the victim's account. Kazombiaze allegedly stole about N$900 000.

‘Prevent Crime’ gets full support Piquet Jacobs

A nationwide crime prevention campaign will soon be underway, after it receives full support from police, hospitals, various emergency services and the Walvis Bay's Mayor, Immanuel Wilfred. This initiative is being made a reality by Conrad Saulze, a Walvis Bay resident, who has come across a gap in communication between the public and emergency services. More specifically, Saulze has become concerned about the amount of people, especially when in need of assistance, do not have the needed contact details which in turn wastes valuable time. Saulze has designed an ideal informative sticker, as part of the 'Prevent Crime' campaign, with contact details of the various emergency services categorized by neighbourhood, so when needed residents are connected to emergency personnel in their area. "My focus is on safety. Too many people do not have the contact details of our emergency services, especially when it is needed. These stickers have the contact details according to neighbourhoods, so residents are directly in contact with the emergency personnel closest to them. I believe it could save a life. Through this I would like to create the opportunity for the community to work hand in hand with the police to prevent crime. Instead of being in the dark, be safe", Saulze commented. These stickers will be sold at N$10 each, of which 10% will go to a fund for the old age homes in Walvis Bay. Saulze has vowed to spend a year or more on the road, travelling all around the country to ensure each household has a sticker. For more information contact Conrad Saulze at 081 422 6419

Swakopmund unites

It was a defining moment: Hundreds of Swakopmund residents from all walks of life united on Tuesday to show solidarity against a rising crime wave. Close to 300 people gathered at the magistrate's court and formed a human chain as the Namibian Police were escorting three murder suspects from a police vehicle to the court holding cells. They are suspects in the murder in August this year of the elderly Strzelecki-couple. "I am overwhelmed. It was really emotional," said Clinton Lang, organiser of this initiative which was carried out under the banner: "A peaceful Swakopmund for all". What also surprised Lang was the volumes of pictures business owners posted on social media of their staff holding hands and uniting against crime. "I believe this is just the beginning", Lang conti-

nued. It was the first time such a large number of people gathered at the court building in Swakopmund to show that they are standing together and that they are fed up with crime, specifically violent crimes. The gathering coincided with the court appearance of the three suspects charged with the murder of the elderly Strzelecki-couple in Swakopmund. Siegfried Paul Helmuth (82) and his wife Sieglinde Roswitha Strzelecki (79). The elderly lady was killed in the house and Mr Strzelecki died days later of the injuries he sustained

in the attack. The three suspects, Daniel Stephanus Nghilifa (26), Jerobeam Simon Shidute (23) and Fabianus Lazarus (24) were taken to court under heavy guard of members of the Special Field Force. More than 300 people looked on. “I wish to place on record under which circumstances this case has been called," said State Prosecutor Dalon Quickfall during their appearance in the Magistrates Court. "This court room is filled. There is no more space and there are more than 200 to 300 civilians standing

About 300 Swakopmund residents united at the Magistrates Court to show solidarity on Tuesday this week. The organisers were happy with the turnout. outside. They stand there in a silent protest and hold hands. They hold hands to appreciate the swift action by the police but also to show solidarity. They want to make Swakopmund a better place to stay in", Quickfall said. He added due to the "clear public outcry against the increase in such heinous crimes" the State will continue to oppose bail for the suspects. Magistrate Conchita Olivier postponed the matter to 6 December for further investigation, as some forensic evidence is still outstanding. She denied bail. The suspects still have the right to hand in formal bail applications, but which will only be heard at a later stage. We are saying

enough is enough", said Clinton Lang to various media representatives at court. He added Swakopmund is reeling in shock after the murders of elderly citizens. "We are holding hands and standing together against these crimes", he said. Amongst the people also standing together holding hands were Swakopmund residents Deputy Mayor Maria Elago and other town councilors. Mayor Pauline Nashilundo was not present. "I am surprised. It is a very good turnout. To get such a lot of people together is quite a success", said former Member of Parliament Anton von Wietersheim. He also participated.¡After the silent

protest many businesses, who could not be part of the initiative, posted pictures on social media showing their employees holding hands. Many schools did the same showing learners holding hands. "Now the easy part is over. We stood

together, side by side, hand in hand to prove to ourselves and each other that we do indeed care about each other. Now the hard part comes, to keep this spirit alive and not to become complacent", Lang said.

During his first appearance in the Swakopmund magistrate' court yesterday Mbemukenga confessed with the words: "I killed Manfred with a brick.” Mbemukenga went on the run, but was arrested at Outjo only a few hours after the murder. During the arrest, he was allegedly trying to flee from the police and was shot and injured. Mbemukenga spent nearly a month in hospital and was ready yesterday for his first court appearance in Swakopmund on a charge of murder and theft. As Mbemukenga slowly walked to the court room on crutches, six members of the police's Special Field Force guarded him closely. Mbemukenga made no attempt to shield his face from the media taking pictures. During the court proceedings, he confessed to the brutal murder of the man he only knew as "Manfred". Fourteen people were arrested for drunken driving in Walvis Bay since Thursday, the municipal traffic chief, Superintendent Eben Platt said yesterday. These drivers all appeared in the magistrate's court and entered different pleas. An operation to bring traffic offenders to the book has started last week and has one purpose: to reduce the number of traffic accidents in the harbour town and to make motorists aware of disciplined behaviour behind the steering wheel. Apart from a clamp down on drunken drivers, a total of 44 drivers were arrested as there were warrants of arrests against them for failing to pay traffic fines and subsequent failure to appear in court. Traffic officials also pulled over vehicles for roadworthiness inspections. Three trucks of China Harbour and Engineering Company (CHEC) were found to be unroadworthy and they were summarily taken off the road. A taxi was also declared unroadworthy and taken off the road. Namibians must take responsibility for public facilities The only beach public braai area in Swakopmund, which is commonly known as the OK Parking Braai, has deteriorated to such a bad condition that it is becoming an embarrassment and a source of frustration to residents. With the festive holiday season approaching, it is said this certainly does not contribute to a positive image for Swakopmund. Swakopmund is well-known for its beautiful beaches and attracts a lot of visitors with summer activities, normally in December. This year it is believed that the Beach Colour Festival will be hosted in Swakopmund. It is expected to attract even more visitors to Swakopmund. The festival will be hosted in the vicinity of OK Parking Braai area, but the facilities are vandalised. The area is not user friendly. Apart from being vandalised, it poses a danger in that a lot of broken glasses and bottles scatter the area and people urinate against some of the walls and structures as they are too lazy to walk to the ablution area. Ian J Izaacs I as a resident and local business man applied to lease a very small piece of land at Old parking to establish a kiosk/take away for day visitors. In addition to this I proposed to manage the area on behalf of the municipality free of charge. I was willing to add two aditional toilets that will be cleaned by us frequently. I offered to set up a small play ground to make it more friendly for children.

ELIMINATION OF PREJUDICE OF ALL KINDS *Prejudice of all kinds, whether religious, racial, patriotic or political is destructive of divine foundations in man. All the warfare and bloodshed in human history have been the outcome of prejudice. This earth is one home and nativity. God has created mankind with equal endowment and right to live upon the earth. As a city is the home of all its inhabitants, although each may have his individual place or residence therein, so the earth's surface is one wide native land or home for all races of humankind.

UNIVERSAL COMPULSORY EDUCATION *... inasmuch as ignorance and lack of education are barriers of separation among mankind, all must receive training and instruction. Trough this provision the lack of mutual understanding will be remedied and the unity of mankind furthered and advanced. Universal education is a universal law. It is therefore incumbent upon every father to teach and instruct his children according to his possibilities. If he is unable to educate them, the body politic, the representative of the people, must provide the means for their education.

PRESS RELEASE:

Development Bank opens doors to SMEs Development Bank of Namibia (DBN) CEO Martin Inkumbi has announced that the Bank will resume financing for SMEs. The announcement follows in the wake of the suspension of operations of SME Bank. Talking about the resumption of SME finance, Inkumbi says that due to the gap in the market for finance, the Bank and the Minister of Finance, Hon Calle Schlettwein, the Bank's shareholder representative, have agreed that DBN should take the necessary steps to resume its financing activities for SMEs. Inkumbi says that the Bank has the capacity, the necessary pool of capital, as well as the ability to redirect human resource capacity to fill the gap.

Previously, the Bank shifted its focus to providing finance for larger enterprises. Inkumbi, however, states that the Bank has maintained its stable of SME borrowers that it developed prior to the shift in focus, and that new borrowers will be inducted into the current system. Asked about what SME borrowers can expect from DBN, Inkumbi says that new applicants will be required to demonstrate viability of proposals for finance in terms of the Bank's assessment process, including business plans, the necessary

human resources to maintain operations, willingness to share risks with the Bank, and consideration of aspects of risk entailed in individual applications. Asked about new elements that may impact SMEs, Inkumbi notes that DBN has put in place an environmental and social management system to ensure adherence to relevant environmental and social legislation, and to minimise negative impacts on the environment. He also says that the Bank has introduced a client support function which can provide

coaching and mentorship to further develop capacity for SMEs. On the topic of the current SME Bank borrowers, Inkumbi states that DBN will not necessary be taking over existing loans, but will consider new financing requirements to start and or expand business activities. All applications for finance will be subject to DBN's normal due diligence process. This process, he explains, was established, and has been tested and refined over the years, since the Bank's inception in 2004. All applications for

SME finance will be treated on individual merit, based on the appraisal of the Bank's Portfolio Managers, as well as its Credit and Risk Committees. Inkumbi directs potential applicants to the Bank's website, www. dbn.com.na, where they can find out more about the requirements for borrowing and download application forms. The Bank, Inkumbi concludes, is aware of the importance of SMEs for the economic development of Namibia. Consequently, successful applicants for SME finance can expect more in terms of support.

PRESS RELEASE:

Imposter scam still ongoing Namib High grade 12 class of 2017 FNB Namibia has once again issued a warning as the FNB imposter scam, especially related to eWallet, is still ongoing and the public is cautioned to be alert and to question any transactions, financial requests, apparent pay-outs or telephone queries before taking any action. “As in the past, we ask our customers to phone us if they are uncertain or if something does not seem right. Our numbers are 061 299 2222/ 061 299 7764 and if customers are uncertain they should get the name and number of the supposed FNB person and return the call via the FNB switchboard, to ensure that the person they talked to is a legitimate employee of the bank,” says Ingrid Kahona-Katjiukua of FNB Forensics. The bank has advised that fraud is an ongoing threat, be it via internet, the change of bank detail scam, refund scam or the imposter scam, which is currently trending. Ingrid explains: “The imposter or caller who pretends to be from FNB Namibia has been manipulating customers by asking them to perform an action on their cellphone, which leads to loss of money through e-wallet payments.” The scam works as follows: 1. The fraudster calls people at random and poses as a FNB employee enquiring about funds that need to be released for various reasons. Dividends, policy pay-outs, or rewards for long standing customers have been used as ruses to receive money. 2. The call, in most cases, is placed to a landline and the customer is then requested to enter a code on their cell phone for release of funds. 3. This code is normally the cell phone banking string; *140*392# or *140*321# followed by what the fraudster then calls a verification code, but is in fact the amount the customer is about to transfer to the fraudster - e.g. 4994 ultimately sending N$4,994.00. Ingrid: “Such calls are not from FNB Namibia. The bank will never call a customer or a member of the public to release funds for dividends, policy pay-outs or for any form of receiving or sending money. We also do not require any 'codes' from a customer to release funds. Keep in mind that we will also never ask you to go through any steps on your cellphone. Remain alert and rather question any financial transaction before taking any action,” she cautioned.

This fishing company is proudly 100% Namibian and provides jobs for approximately 1600 people from the local community. As part of their social responsibility, they also run three fish shops, two in Namibia, and one in South Africa, where they sell fresh hake and other seafood at affordable rates. In this way, they can help people maintain a healthy lifestyle by promoting seafood and making it accessible to local communities. In addition, Seawork contributes to our community, is by supporting several endeavours and welfare organisations, which include CHAIN (Children with Handicaps Action in Namibia) in Swakopmund, supporting various schools and organising different sporting events like a squash league and soccer tournaments. Another way in which Seawork invests in the community is collaborating with the Walvisfees. From the onset of the Walvisfees five years ago, Seawork has been there, investing in the festival. Seawork is one of the Walvisfees's biggest sponsors, and includes all the seafood used at the festival, covering the costs for the performing artists and presenting the Seawork Guru Cook-off competition. The Walvisfees, which will take place from 6-8

October 2017, has become a Walvis Bay tradition and allows the community to participate in a weekend filled with all kinds of entertainment. The festival also promises to keep up with previous years in providing delicious food, including mouth-watering calamari, oysters, chips, corndogs, hamburgers, chicken wraps, kebabs, pancakes, etc. This year, bratwurst will also be available. The entertainment at the Walvisfees this year will once again be of the highest standard. Last year, Jakkie Louw delighted the audience. This year, Jo Nichol and Kaleidoskoop will be responsible for captivating their audience on Friday evening. Jo Nichol is one of our town's favourite local artists and Kaleidoskoop is an upcoming band with a laid-back and inspiring sound and they will charm the audience with engaging music and funny anecdotes from their own experiences in life and on tours. On Saturday, they will be part of Seawork's Guru Cookoff competition. This competition promises to provide exciting entertainment with six teams competing for the ultimate Seawork Guru title. Each team will receive a mystery box consisting of different Seawork and Herco products. They

then have 40 minutes to whip up an appetising dish, which will be judged by Jo Nichol and Kaleidoskoop. Other activities at the Walvisfees will include a Strongman Competition, jumping castles and other inflatable

slides, an artistic trampoline show, numerous stalls to browse. On Sunday 8 October, everyone is invited to attend a service in the Walvisfees tent. Kaleidoskoop will also be part of this service. Just like previous years,

the Walvisfees, in association with Seawork, will ensure that you can look forward to a weekend filled with lively music, good food and exciting entertainment. Do not let your busy schedule keep you from joining us.

Honda achieves top 20 ranking among world's best brands Honda is now one of the world's top 20 brands, according to research by Interbrand in its latest 'Best Global Brands' study. Honda has moved up by 3% to be ranked as the 20th most valuable brand in the world. Interbrand puts its value at $22.696 billion. "The power of the Honda brand highlights our influential position in the market," said Philip Ross, Senior Vice President of Honda Motor Europe. "A diverse range of new products, from the zeroemissions Clarity Fuel Cell to the award-winning Honda Civic Type R, showcase the significance of advanced technology to the Honda brand. The recently-announced 'Electric Vision' will fast-track a major brand advancement, bringing to market a host of new electrified vehicles from 2018." Honda's recognition by Interbrand follows several landmark achievements for the company in 2016 as well as major news announcements this year. At the 2017 Frankfurt Motor Show, Honda confirmed that electrified technology will now feature in every new car model launched in Europe. Honda Motor Company CEO, Takahiro Hachigo, made the commitment as he unveiled the Urban EV Concept vehicle, setting the direction for a

new Honda electric car, which will arrive in Europe in production form in 2019. At a global level, Honda aims to have electrified technology in two thirds of its new car sales by 2030. Beyond automotive, Honda's brand power is bolstered by its advanced product range spanning aircraft, motorcycles, and power equipment, reinforcing its position as the largest engine manufacturer in the world. In April 2017, the advanced light HondaJet set a new MiamiPanama speed record recognised by the National Aeronautical Association, and celebrated global first quarter deliveries that surpassed any other jet in its class. Elsewhere, Honda's expertise in robotics and autonomy helped it to launch the ingenious Miimo lawnmower in 2016. The Miimo knows when to recharge itself in an electric docking station, and can intelligently follow the layout of any garden, quietly and finely cutting the grass. Interbrand's 'Best Global Brands' study is now in its 18th year. The report analyses how brand power determines the success of a company, focusing on the financial performance of its products and services.

FINALISTS TO BATTLE IT OUT FOR THE 2017 VOLKSWAGEN DRIVER SEARCH ARE NAMED

After four gruelling days of physical tests, psychological evaluations, media lectures and naturally a string of stringent driving tests, the judges have been able to cut the original field of fourteen hopefuls down to the two finalists that will now battle it out for 2017 Volkswagen Driver Search honours. "We are very pleased with the way the 2017 event has gone so far," commented Mr Mike Rowe, head of Volkswagen Motorsport. " Vo l k s w a g e n h a v e always been about being a responsible investor in our country and develo-

ping our country's most precious resource, it's people, but at the same time we are also passionate about motorsport. With the Driver Search programme we are able to combine both these objectives and reach our goals." The competiton on the tarmac of the Zwartkops Raceway was fierce at times with the final four candidates finding the limits of their nearstandard Volkswagen Polos as well as the limits of the circuit. Times were very close but in the end it was the names of Talha Moosajee and Raais Asmal who topped the score-

sheets. Moosajee hails from an off-road racing background while Asmal has done some karting, so it was a big step-up and steep learning curve to climb into a Polo and drive it around a racing circuit. "I don't know what to say. Words can't really describe how I feel right now," said a delighted Asmal after being awarded a place in the final two. Moosajee was equally pleased: "I now have a lot of work to do and will do everything I can to be ready for the 3hour race." The two finalists will share a car, alongside 2016 Volkswagen Dri-

ver Search winner and Engen Volkswagen Cup regular Jonathan Mogotsi in the Port Elizabeth 3-Hour Endurance Race scheduled for 18 November. The overall winner will be announced at Zwartkops a week later at the last race meeting of the year. "We wish them both the best of luck. They both impressed us over the last few days and both have come a long way in a short time, but now it gets serious. We are looking forward to finding out who the next Driver Search winner is going to be," concluded Rowe.

Testimony: Its now six months since prophetic doctor Rose attended to my crises. I was socked in sorrows. I had no one to talk to because all my friends and relative avoided me. Now every one wants to know me. My name is Edith from Windhoek. I am an event co-ordinator and had done well for myself until two years ago, I fell in a deep debt with bank through a stupid investment I entered into. I ended up losing everything. My happy home become hell to live in and I fell in a bad depression which ended me in the mental hospital after a miscarriage of our second child. My husband left me for another woman and sold our home for next to nothing, No one visited me at the mental institution accept my neighbours daughter who also took care after my 4 year daughter visited me. After a month at the institution my neighbour took me in and took me to Dr Rose. Dr Rose reviewed the cause of all that was hampering to me and remove a number of spells that were cursed upon me by someone that Dr Rose asked me to forget and focus on building my life, he cleansed me with coconut milk and other substance known by Dr Rose and now my enemies are at shame. Could not to help to share my testimony for I know many are in the position that I was. Prophetic Dr Rose is now in Windhoek and Oshakati Call now 081 219 4969
