Fugitive Ivan Pitt found dead Hangs himself at the same house Thugs arrested where he murdered his girlfriend minutes after robbing a tourist Lindie Prinsloo on Friday........ Floris Steenkamp Slain Swakopmund resident Lindie Prinsloo's killer, her boyfriend Ivan Pitt, was found dead in the couple's home yesterday after being on the run from the Police since Friday. Pitt is believed to have ended his own life by hanging himself in the garage of the home at number 15, Harder Street, Vineta. With both Prinsloo (39) and Pitt (29) dead, the only hopes for the loved ones of the couple is a suicide note. At the time of going to press it was not yet certain whether Pitt left a suicide note. The grim puzzle remains incomplete. What happened on Friday behind the closed doors of house number 15, Harder Street, Vineta? Prinsloo was found dead in a pool of blood on the bathroom floor. She had a gaping cut wound to her throat. Pitt allegedly left the house which he and Prinsloo shared on Friday afternoon in a white Rio Kia (N 1556 S). The vehicle belongs to Prinsloo. What is certain is that Prinsloo was the clutches of an abusive relationship with Pitt in the final months of her life. She made several posts on social media in recent months which in the aftermath of the tragedy which might cast some Lindie Prinsloo (39) who was murdered on Friday. Floris Steenkamp Walvis Bay: Two men who overpowered and robbed a European tourist at a public toilet at the Walvis Bay lagoon yesterday were arrested minutes after the crime was committed. Their two co-accomplices are still on the run, but their identities are known and the police believe their arrest is imminent. They ran to a silver Toyota Yaris and sped off. People who saw what happened notified the Police. The Police broadcasted the information to the different law enforcement radio profiles and soon the traffic department picked it up. As traffic officer Divai was listening to the radio the Yaris passed him from the front in Union Continues on page 2
Fuel goes up Floris Steenkamp Motorists at the coast must brace for yet another fuel price increase. At midnight tonight, the price of petrol increases by 50 cents per litre and the price of diesel increases by 70 cents per litre. The Ministry of Mines and Energy confirmed this in a press statement yesterday, citing a shortage of oil in the global market, in the wake of sanctions against Iran by the United States, as the main culprit. The demand for oil is currently high and subsequently market prices are high. Another factor is the weakening Rand against the main trade currency, the US Dollar, reads the statement. It currently costs oil companies more to import a litre of fuel than the price at which it is sold to Continues on page 2

Fuel goes up Continued from page 1 the Namibian consumer (under-recovery). The shortfall has to be subsidised by the National Energy Fund (NEF). The NEF is said to have spent in excess of N$470 million to subsidise the under-recovery in the past few months. Hence, fuel prices need to be increased in order to narrow the under-recovery margin and rather pushing for an over-recovery (when it costs less to import fuel than the price at which it is sold). At Walvis Bay the new pump prices would be: 95-octane unleaded petrol N$13,95 per litre, Diesel 500ppm N$14,48 per litre and Diesel 50ppm N$14,53 per litre.

Die kruisman Apostel Brunzel “Hoekom ek Die Woord preek is omdat ek self sien hoe die wêreld in die hande van die duiwel is. FATHER KAMUZU Saved my marriage without charging me anything. He does it for Godly sake. Dear readers, I am Sofy Rusch 62 year old white woman from Swakopmund Namibia. I am so excited and blessed with the positive results I got after I consulted a holy man of God. After just one consultation with him over the phone, he prayed for me and gave me his Holy oil. My husband who had left me for a young lady came back ASKING FOR FORGIVENESS. The holy father then prayed for my estate business and now we are making tremendous profits. There is no way I can thank him then publish my testimony and him all over the world. If you are in a similar situation or any problems Don't die in silence. Call or WhatsApp +27788516836
