o 4th VP-April PatrickWehavebeen receiving pre-arb settlements from thecity of Berkeley inwhich Branch1111 is to

receive $500.00 pergrievanceformanagement's continued violationsofarticle7of the CBA. Thank you,all Berkeley stewards, for allyour hardwork.

o 3rd VP -Eddie Murphy ThankedTerrence, April & Francisco forgrievancesfiledand now comingbackresolvedin the union'sfavor. Twenty-five to thirtygrievances filed were management sent carriers to other offices now gettingpaid. Lastmonthat my McVittiePostOffice Ifileda conductcasewheninitiallyamemberofmanagement was talkinga different language other than English on the workroom floor. He did not likeit when I told himto speak English. Later as Iwas turned tothe side hewalkedby andbrushed up againstme. That iswhat lead to myconduct case. I called the Postmaster andwastoldhewasout ona nonpaidstatusstill had not returned to work. Thecarriers arehappyand greetmewhenIarriveinsteadofme having toapproachthem.

o 2ndVP-Terrence Super-Irecently receiveda pre-arbdecisionfrom the SanRamon Post Officewhere acarrier was denied a transfer. Long storyshorthewasawarded a lump sum of $6,000.00andthe transferwasapproved.Also, in San Ramon management inviolationofArticle 15whennot complying withaprior decision to post vacantroutesupfor bid.Thesuccessfulbidderwasawardedaone-time lump-sumof $1,000.00and out ofschedule pay. InVallejowe have a serious issuewithcompliance resultingin eachcarrier toreceivealumpsum of$1,000.00.

1s1VP -Mary Abante- In Pittsburgwe are almost done with route adjustmentsand carriers arenothappy. Alotofthe senior carriershad walking added to theirroutes. CORE does not take intoconsiderationseniority of thecarrierwhen adjusting routes. Josh andJacobhave donea greatjobbutcan only dosomuch. InAlameda Ireceivedapre-arb dealing with stationary time. The disciplineremoved and rescinded withthe carrier needinga longer than usualrest stop. In Rodeo another carrierhad approved FMLA protection issued a LOWwhich was removed andrescinded. In Martinez, acarrier was told to stay home," no workavailable." Later mailed aletter directinghim toresigngofigure now backto work,workingovertime.

o EVP - Narciso Paderanga -next year the maximum annual leavehourstocarry over willremain 520 hours going into 2025 Noword yet on our new contract. Route inspectionsin Lafayetteresultedin some routes' travel time reduced 1 of 2

significantly. When they got their consultations, the carriers were told their routes were close to eight hours as possible. Later30 mins added to each one. We have been informed that our National President sent a letter to Branch70 President Ricardo Guzman informing him that the TIAREAP process is over.

o MDA Coordinator: Marisela Fletcher- Excused

o Food Drive Coordinators: Che' Perez & Irene Hernandez- Final results are 61,133 lbs. offood collected. The City of Alameda brought in 13 thousand lbs.

o EAP Committee rep Liz Corriea - No Report

o LCPF Committee reps-Mary Phelps, Narcisco Paderanga & Ron Jones- No Report

o Old Business: NarcisoPaderanga: Given the fact thatour Branch Newsletter isby-monthly, we will have the2nd reading ofthe proposed Article 7 By-Law changes and voting on the proposal itself at the July 23, 2024, Branch meeting.
