From the Chief Community Management Officer's Desk
Dear Resident,
As school doors close, summer arrives with its promise of adventure and togetherness. This season of sunshine and new beginnings is the perfect moment to share exciting news: we’re stepping forward as Dubai Holding Community Management (DHCM).
For years, you’ve known us as creators of some of Dubai’s most vibrant communities. We have now united our legacy with a renewed commitment: to deliver seamless service, foster deeper connections and ensure every resident feels a true sense of belonging.
The announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community couldn’t be more timely. It’s a reminder that the real strength of our neighbourhoods lies in the people who call them home.
This vision inspires us to listen more closely, serve more meaningfully and help in shaping thriving, connected communities. With DHCM, we are stronger, smarter and more connected than ever.

Community
Your neighbourhood has been going through upgrades and enhancements behind the scenes. Check in on how we’ve been sprucing up the surroundings these past months.
New Carpets, New Calm
The community prayer room was refurbished with brand-new carpets, elevating both comfort and cleanliness for everyone who visits.
Beyond just aesthetics, the new carpets contribute to a quieter, more serene atmosphere by absorbing sound and reducing noise, creating an environment ideal for prayer and reflection. These improvements ensure a welcoming and peaceful setting where occupants and guests can find tranquillity and focus during their time of worship.
Comfort Meets Cool
In order to improve energy efficiency and indoor air quality, air curtains were installed at the lobby entrance to maintain a stable indoor temperature by minimising the ingress of hot or cold air, dust and insects, thereby enhancing comfort for all who enter the building.
Potted Perfection
Elegant planter pots with carefully selected ornamental plants now grace the main entrance, significantly enhancing the aesthetics and ambience of the outdoor space. These stylish planters bring a fresh and natural touch, creating a welcoming and refreshing atmosphere for all who enter.
The lush greenery and graceful presence of the plants soften architectural lines and add warmth, making the entrance more inviting and visually appealing, elevating the overall experience of the community’s main entryway.

It’s the Year of Community, a time to strengthen bonds, foster unity and build inclusive neighbourhoods and Arnold Serrao is right at the heart of it all.
As a passionate community management pro, Arnold and his team strive to transform community concerns into real solutions. Get to know the person behind your community’s positive changes.
How it began?
My interest in the built environment and human connection led me to property and community management. Over time, I’ve shifted from operations to focusing on resident experiences, engagement and innovation. This journey has helped me grow technically and emotionally, valuing both systems and community well-being.
Recall a proud moment
During a flooding crisis, our team worked closely with emergency services and residents to ensure safety and support. Seeing their gratitude reminded me why this work matters. Those moments show the real impact of our efforts and reinforce my pride in being a dependable presence in the community.
Your idea of ‘community’
It means connection, collaboration and belonging, where every voice is valued. Especially In the Year of Community, unity among residents, staff and stakeholders is key. A strong community doesn’t just happen; it’s built through empathy, respect and daily efforts that encourage engagement and inclusion.
What people think you do v/s What you really do
Community management is more than handling complaints or admin tasks. We’re planners, mediators and community builders. Behind the scenes, we coordinate with vendors, manage budgets, resolve conflicts and ensure compliance. It takes emotional intelligence and expertise.
Secret sauce for staying inspired
Outside of work, I recharge through nature walks, hiking, reading and photography and they inspire creativity and clarity. Volunteering grounds me and reminds me of the power of small acts. These interests keep me centred and motivated, helping me return to work with renewed purpose, empathy and focus for the community.

Friendly Reminder Zone
As temperatures rise, let’s remember the hardworking service providers who keep our community thriving, often spending long hours outdoors under the sun. A simple gesture, like allowing a midday break when scheduling services around lunchtime and offering water when you see them working in the sun can make a big difference.
By showing kindness and consideration, we not only support their wellbeing but also strengthen the spirit of our community. Let’s ensure everyone who cares for our neighbourhood feels cared for in return.
Stub Out the Risk
Cigarette butts may seem harmless, but if not put out completely, they can start dangerous fires- especially when they land on furniture, plants or are tossed into garbage bins. Even a small spark can quickly turn into a big problem inside a building or on a balcony.
Here are four tips to remember for a safer disposal and a safer home.
PUT OUT your cigarette completely before throwing it away. Use an ashtray with water or sand to make sure it’s out.
NEVER TOSS a lit cigarette from your balcony or window. Wind can carry it onto furniture, plants or even another balcony, risking a fire.
THROW OUT
cigarette butts into designated bins when you are out and about.
KEEP FLAMMABLES
AWAY from balconies and windows. Don’t store cartons, wood, paper piles, paint cans, clothes racks or dried out plants in these areas.
Park it Right, Drive it Light
With every occupant out and about in the community, it's essential to practice good parking and driving habits to help keep our streets and neighbourhood welcoming and secure.
Designated Spots Only
Avoid blocking driveways, walkways and emergency access.
Observe Speed Limits
Drive slowly, avoid speeding up aisles and wait for barriers before proceeding.
Park Centred
Stay between the lines so others can park comfortably.
Respect Reserved Spaces
Avoid parking at spots for people of determination (if not applicable to you), emergency vehicles or EV charging.
Park Responsibly
It’s unsafe and unfair to neighbours. Ensure car lights are set to auto or on when in garage.
Stay Alert
Be mindful, especially when reversing or exiting your parking bay. Move slowly and use your mirrors to help keep everyone safe.
