Dear Resident,

As school doors close, summer arrives with its promise of adventure and togetherness. This season of sunshine and new beginnings is the perfect moment to share exciting news: we’re stepping forward as Dubai Holding Community Management (DHCM).

For years, you’ve known us as creators of some of Dubai’s most vibrant communities. We have now united our legacy with a renewed commitment: to deliver seamless service, foster deeper connections and ensure every resident feels a true sense of belonging.

The announcement of 2025 as the Year of Community couldn’t be more timely. It’s a reminder that the real strength of our neighbourhoods lies in the people who call them home.

This vision inspires us to listen more closely, serve more meaningfully and help in shaping thriving, connected communities. With DHCM, we are stronger, smarter and more connected than ever.

Community

Spotlight

Your neighbourhood has been going through upgrades and enhancements behind the scenes. Check in on how we’ve been sprucing up the surroundings these past months.

Green Glow-Up

As part of our latest landscaping enhancements that bring both beauty and eco-friendly benefits to our community, four new palm trees have been planted at the Gate 1 roundabout.

These majestic trees will unfurl their magnificent fronds, revealing a stunning, tropical display that will add charm and shade to the area. But that’s not all, many of our sikka and walkway areas have been refreshed with greener, more sustainable plants. We’ve carefully replaced non-performing greenery with low-maintenance, drought-resistant varieties perfectly suited to our local climate. These thoughtful updates not only boost visual appeal but also promote water conservation and long-term resilience.

Cue in the Fun

A brand-new professional 8-ball pool table is now available at the clubhouse as an uber cool addition exclusively for our residents. Whether you’re a pool pro or just looking for some friendly fun, this new spot promises to be the perfect spot to unwind and challenge your neighbours in good fun.

Booking a session is easy: simply register with your villa and contact details at the clubhouse reception. Each session is limited to one hour, but you can extend for another hour if the next slot is free. Get ready to rack them up and enjoy this exciting new feature designed just for you.

Play Longer, Play Safer

New flood lights shine bright across 17 outdoor kids’ play areas in the community offering the little folks of the community with an opportunity to continue playtime well after sundown. This upgrade significantly improves visibility and safety and with extended evening hours, little ones can stay active and have fun in a well-lit, secure environment.

Perfect for cooler summer nights or busy family schedules, this enhancement not only boosts safety but also encourages a more vibrant, inclusive community atmosphere where everyone can connect and enjoy quality time outdoors.

Stay Connected With Our Digital Screens

Brand-new digital screens grace both the community clubhouse receptions and have been designed to keep you informed and engaged with ease. These dynamic information centres showcase the latest community news, upcoming events, facility timings and important announcements in real time.

This upgrade makes staying updated effortless, ensuring you never miss out on what’s happening around you. Drop by the clubhouse and see what’s new today!

It’s the Year of Community, a time to strengthen bonds, foster unity and build inclusive neighbourhoods and Mohammed Abbas is right at the heart of it all.

As a passionate community management pro, Mohammed and his team strive to transform community concerns into real solutions. Get to know the person behind your community’s positive changes.

How it began?

My passion for buildings, designs and urban development lead to choosing the career in this industry. Through my journey in this industry, I have learned to listen to diverse perspectives, facilitate engaging discussions and develop strategies to meet the community needs.

Recall a proud moment

Surviving the COVID period and overcoming 2024 floods were the most challenging times in my career. During this difficult time, being with the community on ground and overcoming these challenges were an extremely proud moment and gave me a sense of giving back to the society and to this beautiful country.

Your idea of ‘community’

Community represents a sense of belonging, connection and mutual support. As we are in Year of Community, I believe it is an opportunity to recognise the power of collective effort, diversity and inclusivity. Every community is a replica of the country you live in and hence your contribution impacts the society.

What people think you do v/s What you really do

People often assume that we have control over property maintenance, modification requests and other issues within the property. Though in reality, our role is to assist in emergencies or direct individuals to the relevant department. We don’t have direct control over these issues ourselves.

Secret sauce for staying inspired

I love exploring new places and new cuisines. I ensure to travel to a couple of countries every year with family to explore the culture, people and food which helps me to rejuvenate and gain better perspective of life.

A Global Beacon Close to Home

The heart of culture and creativity in Jaddaf Waterfront - Jameel Arts Centre has been honoured with a prestigious medal at the inaugural Art Basel Awards 2025, making it one of only three institutions globally to receive this recognition in the Museums and Institutions category.

This major international award highlights its unique approach to community engagement, education and nurturing artistic talent across the region and beyond.

How You Can Participate

Jameel Arts Centre is free and open to all, offering an inspiring mix of exhibitions, artist talks, workshops, outdoor sculptures, and access to the Jameel Library—the Gulf’s first public arts research library. Families can enjoy interactive installations in the Sculpture Park, while art lovers can explore thought-provoking exhibitions featuring regional and international artists. Visit

WHILE HERE: Don't miss the Michelin Bib Gourmand and Green Star-rated farm-to-table restaurant, Teible for their local and sustainable dining. Foodies align! They have a bakery and special breakfast menu and when paired with the tranquil Dubai Creek views, each visit promises to be a fresh and memorable experience.

Friendly Reminder Zone

As temperatures rise, let’s remember the hardworking service providers who keep our community thriving, often spending long hours outdoors under the sun. A simple gesture, like allowing a midday break when scheduling services around lunchtime and offering water when you see them working in the sun can make a big difference.

By showing kindness and consideration, we not only support their wellbeing but also strengthen the spirit of our community. Let’s ensure everyone who cares for our neighbourhood feels cared for in return.

Stub Out the Risk

Cigarette butts may seem harmless, but if not put out completely, they can start dangerous fires- especially when they land on furniture, plants or are tossed into garbage bins. Even a small spark can quickly turn into a big problem inside a building or on a balcony.

Here are four tips to remember for a safer disposal and a safer home.

PUT OUT your cigarette completely before throwing it away. Use an ashtray with water or sand to make sure it’s out.

NEVER TOSS a lit cigarette from your balcony or window. Wind can carry it onto furniture, plants or even another balcony, risking a fire.

THROW OUT

cigarette butts into designated bins when you are out and about.

KEEP FLAMMABLES

AWAY from balconies and windows. Don’t store cartons, wood, paper piles, paint cans, clothes racks or dried out plants in these areas.

Pet-

for a Pawfect Community

Being a pet parent is a lot of fun, but it also means taking good care of them and being thoughtful of others.

It’s that time of the year when the community pool is the coolest spot in the neighbourhood. But let’s make sure every splash is a safe one with these essential reminders - especially for families with young children.

No Running or Partying

Walk, don't run to avoid slips and falls. Parties are not allowed in the community pool.

Teach Swimming Skills

Enrol children in swimming lessons. Even basic skills can help keep them safer in the water.

Supervision is Key

All swimmers under 12 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult at all times and stay within arm’s reach to avoid risks of drowning.

Lifeguard Alert

Swimming is only allowed when a lifeguard is on duty.

No Lifeguard?

No swimming!

Pool Timings

Stick to the pool operating hours. This helps us keep the pool sparkling and safe for everyone.

Water Watcher

Designate an adult from your group to watch children in and around the pool especially on busy days - free from phone distractions or books.

Here are a few important and simple rules that will help make our community a great place for pets and people.

Clean Up

After your Pet

Always carry a bag to pick up after your fur pal. Use the dog waste bins around our community for easy disposal.

Register and Vaccinate your Pet

Make sure your pet is registered with Dubai Municipality and has all the right vaccinations.

Keep Your Pet on a Leash

Dogs should always be on a leash in common areas, so everyone feels safe and is in line with local laws.

Extra Care in the Heat

When it’s hot outside, pets can get sick easily. Watch for signs like excessive drooling and avoid walking your pet during the hottest part of the day. Never leave your pet in a car or on a balconythis can be very dangerous.

Jet Set, Don’t Forget

Before you jet off on your summer getaway, make sure your home is S.A.F.E.

Each letter stands for a smart step – making it easy to recall and covers all essentials for a secure home while you’re away.

SECURE

Lock doors, windows, wardrobes and safes. Secure entrances with CCTV monitoring and ensure battery backup is active.

A PPLIANCES

& AC

Unplug non-essentials, adjust AC to 24°C.

FOOD & FRIDGE

Empty your fridge and freezer to prevent spoilage.

EMERGENCY PREP

Close the main water valve, schedule your irrigation timers, arrange pet care, inform a trusted person and community security of your plans.

BONUS: Sign up for the Dubai Police Home Security Programme via the Dubai Police app for complimentary police patrolling while you are away.

Home Wellness Check

A little preparation goes a long way in keeping your home safe and comfortable. From beating the heat to keeping pests at bay, here’s your easy guide to a worry-free, well-maintained home this season. Voilà—your summer maintenance checklist!

Beat the Heat with a WellMaintained AC

Keep your AC running smoothly with professional servicing at least twice a year to improve cooling performance and air quality, reduce energy consumption and bills and extend its lifespan.

Clean Water, Safe Home

Water tanks in hot climates can collect dirt, bacteria and sediment. Clean your water tank every 6–12 months with a licensed service to prevent contamination and bad odour and maintain water pressure and plumbing.

Don’t

Let the Pests Move In

Keep out summer’s unwanted guests (like ants, cockroaches and rodents) with scheduled professional pest control at least twice a year. Food must be sealed and surfaces kept clean. Seal cracks or entry points around windows and doors and avoid leaving standing water (indoors and outdoors).

TIP: Clean AC filters monthly and keep outdoor units clear of dust and debris.

Park it Right, Drive it Light

With families and children often out and about in your community, it’s essential to practice good parking and driving habits to help keep our streets and neighbourhood welcoming and secure.

Designated Spots Only

Park in your assigned space and avoid blocking driveways, walkways or emergency accesscrucial for safety and accessibility.

Slow Down

Stick to speed limits on internal and arterial roads. Speeding in residential areas puts children, pedestrians and pets at risk.

Reverse for a Better View

When parking, try to reverse into your bay. This gives you a clearer view when you leave, reducing the risk of accidents, especially with children, cyclists and pets nearby.

Respect Reserved Spaces

Leave designated spots for people of determination and emergency vehicles. Everyone deserves a safe and accessible community.

No Double-Parking

Double-parking is not only inconvenient but also dangerous as it blocks visibility and creates hazards for pedestrians and other drivers.

Your cooperation makes all the difference. Thanks for helping us create a safer, happier space.
