December Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is a somber

day to remember the lives lost in 1941 when Pearl Harbor was bombed and the start of World War II officially began between the United States, Germany, Japan and Italy. It is observed on the 7th day of December.

The Posadas are celebrated in Mexico and the United States

for nine nights from December 16th to the 24th which is also called Christmas Eve, commemorating the journey of Mary and Joseph looking for a place to stay before the birth of Jesus Christ. The nine days is said to either represent the nine months of gestation, or a nine day journey. There are processions of people, many of them taking part in an enactment of the event, parading through different homes and taking part in a pageant of singing and symbols. Those on the outside singing represent the travelers asking for a place to stay and those in the house, as innkeepers, eventually let them in and celebrate with a big party and a feast with PiĂąatas and candy for the children.

Structuring a plan to pay down a car loan or an RV loan is also essential. Not having that post-tax payment later is one of the keys to managing your budget. The second area to manage is your budget. Know how much you’re spending each month. Don’t forget to account for ‘fun’. That may be traveling, golfing or tennis. Even crafting should be budgeted for. After all, retirement is supposed to be fun. Estate planning is the third area, and one mostly forgotten about by pre-retirees. It is necessary to have a plan to pass on the possessions and money that you have worked so hard for. Often people will spend most of their money over their lifetime. Sometimes it may be passed on to your relatives while you are still alive just to watch them enjoy themselves. Money may also be passed on through instruction in the Living Trust or a Will. any discussions during the recent elections revolved around economic recovery and the need for jobs for thousands of unemployed people. There are many lessons learned since the economic recession began. How do we learn from these difficult times and prepare our children for jobs and economic opportunity in the future?

One focus that has caught much attention since I was an engineering student in college is the need for more students to graduate with experience and degrees in the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics, also known as STEM degrees.

STEM is not a new term, but for many parents it is. Why STEM? Recently, I learned in an education presentation that last year about 60,000 students from US colleges and universities graduated with these types of skills.

Labor statistics show that next year over one million jobs will require these skills. Over the last few decades, other countries, such as China and India, have shown over 500% increases in students focusing in these areas, while American students are showing declines.

The implication is, if we do not increase pathways in STEM and grow the number of students focusing in these fields, our current and future generations will be at risk and they will not be able to compete for these jobs globally. oleen Atwood has been nominated for an Academy Award for Best Costume Design nine times and won Academy Awards for the movies Chicago in 2002, Memoirs of a Geisha in 2006, and Alice in Wonderland in 2011.

CA: I initially wanted to be a painter and studied painting so I think looking at things through those eyes and the school has been a huge asset for me in my life. Also, I have had a lot different jobs when I was younger, from waitress to working in book stores, so Iâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;ve had an experience not just doing clothes my whole life but really working with real people and that helps you to find character in different ways than just an academic background. >E) 7^f SXS h^d VTc h^da UXabc ^__^acd]Xch X] 7^[[hf^^S. CA: Actually I got my first opportunity in Hollywood in New York because I moved to New York in 1980 wanting to work on film but not knowing how to do that and I met someone by chance through a friend from Seattle, who was a dancer and whose mother was a production designer. I asked her that I could work for her, even for free, because what I wanted was to get some experience. Of course nothing happened, until one morning I got a call because someone was supposed to show up for their first day at work and didnâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;t show up, so they were asking me if I wanted to come to work. I said yes. I worked very hard for zero money and spend many years doing that until I got a proper well-paying job. >E) 1dc Xc fPb f^acW Xc ^eTa cWT cX\T CA: Yes. I always tell to the young people: Everything you do in your life, no matter what the job is, do your best because later in life you never know what comes in to play.

Esta persona era bailarina y su madre era una diseĂąadora de producciĂłn. Le preguntĂŠ si podĂ­a trabajar para ella, incluso de forma gratuita, ya que lo que yo querĂ­a era conseguir un poco de experiencia. Tengo una hija adolescente y mirĂĄndola a ella y a sus amigas asocie lo que ellas esperan ver en un hĂŠroe. CA: Yo creo que mientras trabajen duro y tengan la oportunidad de conseguir un empleo a nivel bĂĄsico en cualquier ĂĄrea del negocio, que tomen ese trabajo aunque no sea exactamente lo que quieren, que tomen ese trabajo porque puede evolucionar y conocer gente en el proceso.

Eyes Try adding a highlight color to the inner corner of your eye and under the eye brow. Also, choose shadows that enhance your eye color. Remember! Don’t be afraid to add a splash of color. Apply a fabulous non flaking, smudge proof mascara to make eyes pop. A concealer applied under eyes to diminish dark circles to finish them off.

Cheeks I use a neutral cheek color and brush it from the corner of my brow in a curve to apples of cheek then I finish it off with a brighter color or bronzer layered on the apples.

Lips Apply a lip primer to lips to prevent feathering this will also extend your lip color wear longer. Next, I use a lip liner color that is lighter than my lipstick/lip gloss shade. Another great option is a neutral or clear lip liner. I fill my lips in lightly before applying lipstick or gloss for added staying power. Don’t be stuck wearing the same boring shades, be adventurous and choose a different shade every day, mix it up a little for variety.

One of my favorite tricks to looking photo ready is to use a highlighting pen on top of foundation that has light reflecting pigments. Swipe in the line that runs from the side of your nose to the inner corner of your WY_^R KV]Y UXYaX K] v]WSVO VSXO]w KXN VSQR^Vc LVOXN +ZZVc K NK]R
