He pointed out that the past one year would not have been successful without the alliance partners remaining firm in the coalition spirit and committed to solidarity. The chief minister thanked his cabinet colleagues and other alliance members for remaining solidly behind the government and helping deliver good to the people. He quoted from Bible (James 5:16) “The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Thanking everyone who had contributed in their own little ways, he said their achievements had been documented. Social Media platforms have assured action on any content reported by designated officers of the election body. The new rules, however, left many questions. Declaring that the government was committed to bring change for the better, he, however, warned that unless people changed their attitude and mindset, it would be difficult to achieve that change. Rio, therefore, called upon all Nagas to help the government bring positive change to the State. The chief minister pointed that there was lot of negativity and that everyone was pessimistic and did not talk about the good but debated the bad. “We have many good people, but majority are filled with negativity. So, we need to change from negativity to positivity. Our attitude should change,” he opined.
