Criticizing NDPP-BJP alliance, Dr. Shürhozelie pointed out that under the BJP government many Christians had suffered. CCTVs to be used in all polling stations: CEO DIMAPUR, FEB 17 (NPN): To ensure free and fair elections, the chief electoral officer (CEO) of Nagaland, on Saturday said that CCTV surveillance will be installed in polling stations across the state with either webcasting or offline videography. Webcasting operators will be under the overall supervision of the presiding officer and the 1st polling official. On the day of polls, the proceedings in the poll-

ing booth will be monitored by the respective RO/ DEO and the CEO. The CEO stated that webcasting systems will be installed a day prior to the polling day. According to the media cell, CEO Nagaland, ECI has expressed satisfaction that a sufficient number of EVM and VVPAT printers were available for the polls in the Assembly Constituencies of Nagaland.

DIMAPUR, FEB 17 (NPN): Taking a dig at the newly floated Nationalist Democratic Progressive Party (NDPP), Nagaland chief minister, T.R. Zeliang said the new party was totally bereft of programmes and policies for the people of Nagaland and that “its one-point manifesto for the forthcoming general elections seems to be T.R. BJP candidate attacked DIMAPUR, FEB 17 (NPN): BJP candidate from 40 Bhandari, Mmhonlumo Kikon reportedly escaped an “assassination bid” Saturday evening near Yimpang village. CNC special prayer meet DIMAPUR, FEB 17 (NPN): Council of Nagalim Churches (CNC) said that “a special prayer meeting for the nation” was being organised on February 19, 2018 at 9.30 a.m at Diphupar Ao Baptist Church, Dimapur, near Cease Fire Monitoring Cell Office.
