State to showcase culture, investment potential at B20

DIMAPUR, APR 3 (NPN): Nagaland chief minister Neiphiu Rio said that Nagaland was all set to host the fourth and final B20 event at Kohima, the official G20 dialogue forum for global business community. The event would also showcase the potential of Nagaland for inviting investments during the B20 conference. Addressing a media persons at Niathu Resort here on Monday, Rio said the B20 conference scheduled on April 5 would be attended by Union Minister of State for External Affairs Dr Rajkumar Ranjan Singh along with senior central and state government officials. He informed the media that the meet scheduled from April 4 to 6 at Kohima would witness the convergence of 64 delegates from 29 countries– Argentina, Australia, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Canada, China, Costa Rica, Cote D’Ivoire, Cuba, Estonia, Germany, Ghana, Iceland, Indonesia, Ireland, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Nepal, Nigeria, Panama, Paraguay,

DIMAPUR, APR 3 (NPN): The Western Sümi Baptist Akukuhou Küqhakulu (WSBAK) has strongly opposed the recent decision of the State government to allow sale of liquor to foreign delegates attending the G20 Business Summit scheduled from April 4 to 6 at Kohima. In a press release issued through its executive secretary Rev Dr Phughoto Sema, WSBAK termed it as another blunder decision taken by the government regarding the Nagaland Liquor Total Prohibition (NLTP) Act, 1989.
