DAY PROGRAMS

Our Community Day Programs are available for young adults and mature aged people with disability who are looking for enjoyable and engaging programs in a safe and supported learning environment.

Our individual skill-building programs are designed to empower individuals by enhancing their specific abilities and NDIS goals.

A range of activities are available across our programs which include:

• Art and Crafts • Music • Dancing

• Drama Classes • Fitness • Cooking

• Games

• Sailing

• Tech Skills • Festivals

• Swimming • Radio Presenting

• Luncheons • Bowling

• Living Skills ... and much more!

These programs focus on personal development and growth, building on skills such as communication, everyday living, forming new friendships and increasing independence.

Servicing the Nepean Blue Mountains, our Community Day Programs are available at:

• St Marys • Jamisontown • Penrith Riverside

• Penrith Central • Lawson • Katoomba

NADO SOCIAL CLUB

The NADO Social Club (NSC) offers NDIS participants the opportunity to make new friends, share new experiences and enjoy a range of weekend and evening activities in a fun, caring and supported environment.

A wide range of recreational, entertainment and social activities are available and can include:

- Social Dinners - Ten Pin Bowling

- Concerts and Shows - Karaoke

- Festivals and Fetes - Ghost Tours

- Sporting Events - Aqua / Mini Golf

- Aquatic Centres - Fitness Sessions

- Museums - Jet Boating

- iFLY Indoor Skydiving - Smash Rooms

SATURDAY FLEXI GROUPS

These group are tailored for smaller groups where participants are matched to their gender and personal interests. Visit our website for details.

ACCOMMODATION

Supported Independent Living (SIL)

SIL offers the opportunity for residents to live with other people and in the way they choose as independently as possible. When you live in a shared residence managed by NADO you will:

• Live in a home where you feel secure, safe and comfortable

• Enjoy privacy and freedom

• Be involved in decisions about any changes to your home and activities

• Have the opportunity and ability to grow, develop and engage in individual social, cultural and religious practices

• Have opportunities for relationships inside and outside of the home

• Develop the skills to live independently

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)

NADO is registered as an SDA provider. Some of our shared accommodation homes are also registered as SDA houses with the NDIS. We welcome your enquiry about future vacancies in our SDA registered housing.

SUPPORT COORDINATION

Support Co-ordination enables you to be more informed about how your NDIS funds can be utilised across both mainstream and NDIS registered supports.

Our Support Coordination team will work in close partnership with you to ensure that you receive relevant information regarding the flexibility and funding options within your NDIS plan. They can also assist in connecting you to a range of service providers based on your individual goals and aspirations.

SENSORY STORE

The Sensory Store offers a wide range of high-quality sensory toys, educational tools, and therapy products designed to support individuals of all ages and abilities.

Whether you’re shopping for yourself, a loved one, or on behalf of a school, organisation, client, or allied health clinic, we’ve got you covered. With friendly, knowledgeable staff, hassle-free ordering, and the option to receive an invoice before payment, the Sensory Store is your go-to destination. Proudly owned and operated by NADO, the Sensory Store is committed to making sensory support accessible, inclusive and convenient for all.

Purpose built for inclusion and fun, Share My Ability is owned and operated by NADO Disability & Aged Care.
