OUR SECTION IS MY

Hiraya As our book's theme is HIRAYA, which means "fruit of one's hopes, dreams, and aspirations". For me, our section is the fruit of my hardships, it is my hope that keeps pushing me forward. Even if we don't meet face to face, our classmates and teachers still don't fail to make me laugh and it gives me the strength to move forward thinking "I need to make my teachers, classmates, and friends proud of me. To do that, I must stand up and move forward", and in mind that "I want to graduate with them". That is why our section is my Hiraya.

SURVIVORS As we experience this new normal way of education. we need to consider a lot of things.

We need a stable internet connection, quiet place so we can focus.

it has been a roller coaster ride as we finish this year with all the tasks, quizzes, and projects that need to be submitted on time.

I think there's nothing scarier than the thought of having a bad future because of bad grades. I must admit that online classes had been difficult. but look at where we are now. we made it!

Congratulations! Despite the pain this pandemic has bought, we are still able to continue our journey towards our dreams.

And I'm so proud of what we have become, we were brave enough to face this new normal and survived it with success.

WE'VE BEEN THROUGH A LOT : C.M Enruiquez

First day of class. That day, I felt so excited but at the same time, nervous because I didn’t know what would happen. There are so many thoughts running in my mind, “ would this school year be great?” “Would this be okay?”. I actually had friends right away so I was happy because I had new ones again.

At first, I thought the online class would be easy, but I was wrong. I didn’t expect it to be difficult….. Because of the increasing number of assignments, projects, including the tasks that are needed to be submitted tomorrow. At first, I cried because I was late to submit my works but afterward I had some realizations and I told myself “ it doesn’t matter if I passed it late than to pass non, what’s more important is I have a mark”. That’s what I’ve imprinted in my mind so from then on, I don’t cry whenever I passed my task late.

Actually, I don’t pay much attention to the time because I’m focused on what I’m going to do and what I need to do, even though I have a schedule that is not being followed. But even so, I was able to cope up and everything is worth it because it's already part of the challenges in my life and it's already a part of my life.

Now that I’m going to graduate from grade 7, I’m happy because it's going to be our vacation! But of course, happy because I’ve completed all of my tasks and I have nothing to do. Now, I will wake up with no modules to think about…. But real talk, I will miss all of my memories from my 7th grade as well as the modules hahahaha…… thank you to all my subject teachers especially to our adviser who did everything to make us happy and who had been able to teach us well. We will never forget you ma’am and sir, we salute you. Congratulations to all of us because we have overcome all the difficulties.

Why suddenly things are restricted?

A lot of things are happening Thoughts are racing inside my mind Worries that cover my ears Numbness that wraps my heart Fear that hinders me from keep going on Anger that blinds me from reality Frustration that pulls me down Sadness that flipped the smile on my face Im so sad. I'm so down. I'm so tired.

I just wanna run away.

I don’t know myself anymore.

Uncovered my ears, unwrapped my heart, opened my eyes, pushed me up, and brought back the smile I use to have.

You showed me the things I do not see And let me experience the joy and the fun that I use to know.

You thought me how I could be my light.

Made me realize things.
