You have faced lockdowns, disruptions to your learning, and extended periods of home schooling, but you rose to the challenge.
Overcoming these obstacles and upheavals in your education has made you stronger and better prepared to face whatever life presents as you head towards your future.
Thankfully, we have seen the world return to some sense of normality this
year, allowing you to enjoy your final year of schooling and start to look forward to the next exciting phase of your life.
Whether it’s university, TAFE, a gap year or the work force you have decided on in 2023, the world is your oyster and the possibilities are endless. Follow your passion and do what you love.
As your high school years come to an end, there is much to celebrate.
You have completed twelve years of education, which will be the foundation for you to build on as you head towards this new chapter.
As you prepare to walk through the school gates for the last time, there will be a great sense of excitement.
Perhaps there will be a tinge of sadness too as you leave the familiarity and security of your surroundings and the teachers who have helped shape you during your most formative years.
No doubt you will have formed strong friendship groups over the years. Some of you may continue to tertiary education together, some may not, but the memories you have made and the bond you share will stay with you always.
Just as you have faced challenges throughout your school years, there will be highs and lows, disappointments and achievements as you face life’s realities.
No matter where your path may take you, be open to new
opportunities and experiences, have faith in your ability and always back yourself.
