UNITED PRO WRESTLING EVENT

UPW presents two hours of family-friendly entertainment, food, drinks, merchandise and lots of giveaways. OCEANIA RUGBY UNDER 20 CHAMPIONSHIP

Sunshine Coast Stadium is the new home of the Oceania Rugby Under 20 Championship and will play host to the contest for the first time since COVID-19 affected regional competitions. The 2022 event will bring international age-grade rugby to fans in southeast Queensland with reigning champions and host Australia to welcome Fiji, New Zealand and for the first time Argentina to our beautiful region. When: Friday, July 1 to Sunday, July 10. Round one begins 5pm, July 1. Where: Sunshine Coast Stadium, 320 Nicklin Way, Bokarina. SHOWMEN – THE ULTIMATE MAGIC SPECTACULAR

Prepare to experience a jaw-dropping spectacle of live magic, illusions and stunts with Showmen these holidays. Starring the biggest names in Australian and international magic, together they become the Showmen – a supergroup of conjurers, tricksters, comedians, illusionists, daredevils, dancers and more. MOOLOOLABA FORESHORE FESTIVAL

To celebrate the opening of Mooloolaba’s new Northern Parkland, the community is invited to the vibrant and free Mooloolaba Foreshore Festival inspired by all things in, on and under the sea. Discover all the latest parkland additions including an epic adventure playground, oceanfront picnic and barbecue areas and stunning viewing decks. Meet a mermaid, spot incredible sand sculptures, soak up live music or wander the sunset markets. At ‘Ocean Alley’ on the Esplanade, there will be ocean displays and workshops, delicious food, free rides and face painting, and activities for everyone to enjoy. When: Saturday, July 2, 10am to 9pm. ADAM JAMES LAUNCH PARTY

Adam James is back from an east coast tour will be at the Seahorse whipping up a set of his finest songs written in the style that ties surf, good times, music and the love of the free life all together. His voice is captivating and gives the already unique songs an accent of expression that can only come from Adam James. When: Saturday, July 2, 5.30pm to 8.30pm. SOUND OF MUSIC YOUTH EDITION

Sunshine Coast Youth Theatre presents the youth edition of the all-time classic The Sound of Music. From the company that brought you Oliver, Grease and The Wizard of Oz, this abridged version is a perfect outing for the whole family. A cast of 50 talented performers, all under 18 years of age, will bring this iconic story of hope and family to life, with timeless, spirited classics such as My Favourite Things, Climb Every Mountain, Edelweiss and many more. CLINT BOGE

Clint Boge will has been on a national tour this year where he has performed in some of the best touring rooms in Australia. The former Butterfly Effect frontman will be performing acoustic renditions of his solo releases and crowd favourites from The Butterfly Effect, plus road testing new works across two 40-minute sets each night. JONAS AND BARRY IN THE HOME – THEATRE SHOW

Jonas And Barry in The Home finds new friends Barry Butterfield and Jonas Ainsworth living in an assisted living home together. Barry, a retired dentist, is newly a senior and unsure what to do with his days at Gateway Gardens. Jonas is a retired stage actor who spends his time wooing the women in the home.
